Life Planning Day: P.1 Egg Protection Mission 生涯規劃日：一年級護蛋行動

Everyone is a one-of-a-kind treasure! To help our students learn to love themselves and appreciate their own uniqueness, our school recently held a deeply meaningful ”Egg Protection Mission“ as part of our Life Planning Day.
The day was packed with excitement and challenges. Our Primary 1 students transformed into ”Little Guardians,“ embarking on a grand test of creativity and patience through three major tasks:
1. The Birth of a Unique Egg: Students used their imagination to design their own ”creative egg.“
2. The Ultimate Protective Shield: Putting their problem-solving skills to the test, they used various materials to craft a sturdy suit of armor for their fragile eggs.
3. The Inseparable Challenge: Eggs in hand, students had to keep their fragile companions safe at all times while carefully navigating different game checkpoints!
To enrich the day‘s experience, we were also delighted to invite our wonderful ”Story Parents“ to campus. Through lively and engaging picture-book storytelling, they guided students to reflect deeply on the preciousness of life.
By the end of this unforgettable ”Egg Protection Mission,“ our little guardians walked away with a profound realisation: just as they had carefully nurtured and protected their delicate eggs, every single one of them is deeply valuable, deserving of love and care!

每個人都是獨一無二的寶藏！為了讓同學們學習愛護自己、欣賞自己的獨特之處，本校舉辦了別具意義的「護蛋行動」。生涯規劃日當天，一年級同學們挑戰重重，大家要化身「小守護者」，展開了一場創意與耐性的大考驗。
1. 獨一無二的誕生：學生親手設計專屬自己的「創意蛋」。
2. 最強防護罩：學生動腦筋利用不同材料，為脆弱的蛋打造安全護甲。
3. 形影不離的挑戰：學生必須隨身攜帶雞蛋，小心翼翼地闖過各個關卡任務！
當天活動豐富，我們更特別邀請了「故事爸媽」來到校園，透過生動有趣的繪本演繹，帶領同學們深入反思生命的珍貴。經過這一天的「護蛋行動」，相信大家都深刻體會到：就像悉心保護每顆蛋一樣，我們每個人都值得被好好愛護與珍惜！

Our School is well prepared for welcoming the P.1 newcomers and also opens the applications for the waiting list candidates.
If you intend to enroll your children in our School in the coming year, please complete and submit the online application form, our personnel will contact you as soon as possible for an interview.
There is no written test but we will lead candidates in diversified fun activities which integrate all required skills into games so that students can present their qualities, virtues and learning abilities relaxingly and naturally.
Students can get a chance to experience primary school life by seeing, engaging in an active way. Parents can also tour around our campus to check more about our School‘s vision and mission, features of curriculum and student learning outcomes.

Jazz Dance Team Achieves Outstanding Results
After months of dedicated preparation and training, our Jazz Dance team participated in the 62nd Schools Dance Festival and the Tai Po District 44th Inter-school Dance Festival Competition, where they were awarded a Commended Award and a Silver Award respectively. These encouraging results not only broadened the team members’ horizons but also gave them valuable and memorable competition experience, showcasing the team’s hard work and strength.

本校爵士舞校隊隊員經過數個月的刻苦準備與訓練，參加第62屆學校舞蹈節及大埔區第44屆校際舞蹈比賽，並分別榮獲乙級獎及銀獎，成績令人鼓舞。比賽過程不僅擴闊了隊員們的視野，亦讓他們累積了寶貴而難能可貴的比賽經驗，展現出團隊的努力與實力。

Step out of the classroom and embrace the world! Our ‘Hong Kong International School Visit’ offered students a premier chance to practise English in an immersive, all-English environment. Through interactive campus tours and diverse learning experiences, students discovered the unique features of the international school curriculum. This initiative aims to provide firsthand cultural immersion, helping students understand global lifestyles and broaden their international horizons.

Our school choir has achieved outstanding results in several inter-school competitions, thanks to their beautiful voices and seamless teamwork. The awards include: 2025-2026 Tai Po District Inter-School Singing Competition – Bronze Award; HKICF 2026: Competition Cum Masterclass Performance Highlights Package (Vocal Ensemble and Chamber Choir Division) – Bronze Award; and 2026 Taoist Songs (Shun Shin Cup) Singing Competition – 2nd Runner-up.
We are grateful to the teachers for their dedicated guidance and to the students for their hard work. Every drop of effort has been transformed into perfect harmonies on stage. We look forward to our choir continuing to spread positive energy through music and reaching even greater heights!

Uniformed Teams‘ ‘Seahorse Rangers’ Field Trip

To broaden students’ conservation awareness, our school‘s uniformed teams have joined the ’Seahorse Rangers‘, an initiative established by the Ocean Park Conservation Alliance. As part of this programme, the teams took part in a field trip to Ocean Park, where they carefully observed wildlife behaviour and filmed short videos to document the daily activities of the animals. During the visit, students explored ’The Grand Aquarium‘ and the ’Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Treasures‘ exhibit, gaining an in-depth understanding of the living environments, behaviours and habits of various animals. The morning was both fulfilling and educational for everyone involved.

制服團隊「海馬同學會」考察活動
為豐富學生的保育視野，本校制服團隊參加了由海洋公園保育聯盟成立的「海馬同學會」，活動之一便是透過到海洋公園考察，細心觀察野生動物習性，並拍攝短片記錄動物日常行為。當天學生參觀了「海洋奇觀」和「香港賽馬會四川奇珍館」，深入認識了不同動物的生活環境、行為、居住習性等，度過了充實又具教育意義的一個早上。

Visits to Hong Kong Central Library
To promote a reading culture, our school arranged for students of different levels to visit the Hong Kong Central Library. During the visits, students not only explored the library’s facilities and services on site but also learnt how to use its electronic resources, such as the library catalogue overview, multimedia information system, and e-books.

These visits gave students a deeper understanding of the library’s facilities and services, while also equipping them with self-learning skills. By making good use of library resources, students can enhance their interest in reading and develop good reading habits.

參觀香港中央圖書館
為推廣閱讀風氣，學校特意安排不同年級的學生到香港中央圖書館參觀。學生除了實地了解圖書館各項設施和服務，更學習如何使用館內電子資源，例如圖書館目錄簡介、多媒體資訊系統、電子書等。
是次參觀讓學生對圖書館設施和服務有更深入的認識，同時令他們掌握自學技巧，能善用圖書館資源，以提升其閱讀興趣及培養良好的閱讀習慣。

Our school has been actively promoting reading and fostering a rich reading environment. On 12th May, we took our P.1 students to visit the Tai Po Public Library, helping them broaden their horizons and develop an interest in reading.
During the visit, the students were fully engaged. They listened attentively to the head librarian’s introduction and enjoyed the experience of reading together.
This day was filled with a wonderful reading atmosphere. It not only strengthened the students’ interest in books but also gave them a precious opportunity to share the joy of reading with their classmates.

本校一直積極推廣閱讀，營造濃厚的閱讀環境。本校於五月十二日帶一年級學生參觀大埔公共圖書館，讓學生大開眼界，增廣見聞，培養讀書的興趣。
在參觀活動中，學生們表現積極，專心聆聽圖書館館長的介紹，享受閱讀的過程。
這個充滿閱讀氣氛的一天不但讓學生增加閱讀圖書的興趣，也難得地與同學一起分享閱讀的樂趣。
