🎉【MegaBox 小小檔主親子市集——手鐘體驗工作坊】🔔
剛過去的週末（25/7），寶安商會温浩根小學於九龍灣 MegaBox 的「小小檔主親子市集」擺設了手鐘體驗工作坊！
當天場面非常熱鬧，許多小朋友在我們手鐘隊同學的悉心指導下，親手嘗試敲擊手鐘，體驗合奏音樂的樂趣！現場更展示了本校的特色課程，讓不少家長深入了解温小的教學理念。
多謝各位家長及小朋友親臨現場支持，同我們度過了一個充滿音樂與歡笑的愉快假期！🎵

🎉【MegaBox Little Stallholder Parent-Child Bazaar - Handchime Workshop】🔔
On July 25, Po On Commercial Association Wan Ho Kan Primary School hosted a Handchime Experience Workshop at the "MegaBox Little Stallholder Parent-Child Bazaar" in Kowloon Bay!
It was a fantastic day! Under the guidance of our hand chime team members , many young visitors tried playing handchimes and enjoyed the joy of musical ensemble. We also shared features of our school's curriculum with parents. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a fun and musical day! 🎵

Four students from our school took part in the Primary Inter-school STEAM Competition 2026 – Robot Target Shooting Challenge. With outstanding performance, they won the 1st runner-up award.

【2026年度小六升中成績】

本校今年共有132名小六畢業生，當中79位同學獲派「以英語作為主要授課語言中學」，佔全部畢業同學60%。當中有不少同學獲派區外英中，包括：
聖公會曾肇添中學、嘉諾撒聖方濟各書院、嘉諾撒聖心書院、沙田官立中學、沙田培英中學、保良局羅傑承﹝1983﹞ 中學、賽馬會體藝中學、保良局顏寶鈴書院、保良局董玉娣中學、順德聯誼總會李兆基中學、聖母玫瑰書院等校，成績令人鼓舞。在此再次恭喜本校畢業同學，祝同學們前程錦繡！鵬飛萬里！

“2026 Secondary School Allocation”

This year, our school had 132 Primary 6 graduates. Among them, 79 students—representing 60% of the graduating class—were allocated places in "English-as-the-Medium-of-Instruction" (EMI) secondary schools. Many students secured places in EMI schools outside the district, including:
SKH Tsang Shiu Tim Secondary School, St. Francis' Canossian College, Sacred Heart Canossian College, Sha Tin Government Secondary School, Sha Tin Pui Ying College, Po Leung K*k Lo Kit Cheng (1983) College, Jockey Club Ti-I College, Po Leung K*k Ngan Po Ling College, Po Leung K*k Tung Yuk Ting College, Po Leung K*k , Shun Tak Fraternal Association Lee Shau Kee College, and Our Lady of the Rosary College. These results are truly encouraging. We once again congratulate our graduates and wish them a bright future and soaring success!

Our “Reading Mum and Dad” event was a big success today!
Parents joined our English lessons as guest storytellers, and our students were fully engaged and wonderfully responsive. It was a joyful home–school collaboration that strengthened our reading culture and brought smiles to everyone! 📚🩷

每年的 5 月 21 日是聯合國訂定的「世界文化日」（World Culture Day）。我們居住的香港是一個國際大都市，校園裡也融入了來自不同文化背景的同學。透過這個跨學科主題，同學們能認識世界各地的傳統節日、特色服飾，並學習不同文化的差異。透過這次專題研習，同學們不僅能開闊國際視野，更能學會用「尊重、包容與愛心」去對待和我們不同的人，在校園裡實踐和睦共處的精神。

【J3 Cross-subjects Thematic Curriculum Month – “Multiculturalism”】

Every year on May 21st, the United Nations celebrates "World Culture Day." As an international metropolis, Hong Kong is a melting pot of cultures, and our campus is beautifully enriched by students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Through this Cross-Subjects Curriculum, students learn about traditional festivals and unique clothing from around the world, while understanding various cultural differences. This project-based learning journey not only expands their global vision but also teaches them to treat others with respect, tolerance, and love, successfully putting the spirit of harmony into practice on campus.

【二年級跨學科「我的社區」–全方位戶外學習】

配合二年級的跨學科主題「我的社區」，同學們除了在課堂上學習相關知識外，更走出校園，到附近社區、東涌公共圖書館及東涌消防局進行參觀學習活動，獲益良多。同學們不但對附近社區提供的設施加深了認識，學習到如何善用圖書館資源以達至終身學習的目標，還認識了消防員的日常工作及不同滅火工具的用途。

【J2 Cross-subjects Thematic Curriculum - Life-wide learning】

To complement the Primary 2 Cross-Subjects Curriculum "Our Community," our students extended their learning beyond the classroom! They embarked on an exciting community exploration, visiting neighbourhood facilities, the Tung Chung Public Library, and the Tung Chung Fire Station.
It was a highly rewarding experience. Not only did the students deepen their understanding of local community resources, but they also learned how to effectively utilise library services to foster lifelong learning habits. Furthermore, they gained firsthand insight into the daily responsibilities of firefighters and the specialized tools used in firefighting.

本校四位五年級同學——李陸毅、吳澤承、魏靖雯及 Murali Varma Tejaswin，榮幸獲教育局課程發展處邀請，於「學與教博覽2026」的「閱讀無界限」活動中擔任「悦讀分享」嘉賓！
現場除了同學的精彩分享，展位更融合了 AI（人工智能）及 AR（擴增實境）技術，打造打破傳統的全新多模態閱讀體驗！多謝各位老師、同學及家長親臨現場，為我校同學打氣並體驗創新閱讀科技！

Congratulations to our award winners!
Five students from our school took part in the 2025-26 Bird Survey Campaign under the BOC Hong Kong People and Nature in Harmony Programme – Environmental Science Workshop. After a two-month survey, they delivered outstanding performances and were awarded the Bronze Prize in the Primary School Category.
We wish all the students will keep exploring their potential in science and STEAM education, and achieve more remarkable results in the future.
