下星期開課的 AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (Amazon Cloud AWS SAA) 國際認可證書課程 除了示範多種技術外，亦會教授如何 "巧妙地" 使用 AWS 服務，例如教授同學以節省高達 90% 費用使用 EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud)。當中有不少巧妙之處需要學習，例如有些情景下只能夠節省 70% 的費用 (下圖 1️⃣)，有些情景下可以節省 90% 的費用 (下圖 2️⃣)。我們會教授同學分辨這些情景，令同學不會 "洗冤枉錢"。

在使用 AWS 服務的時候，我們不時都需要將公司內的網絡安全地連接到 AWS 上，而其中一種方法就是建立 IPSec VPN + BGP。乍看之下看似複雜，但實際操作是頗為簡單直接。在 6 月 1 開課的 AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (Amazon Cloud AWS SAA) 國際認可證書課程會教授同學巧妙地 "撳幾個掣" 和 "copy and paste" 就能建立 IPSec VPN + BGP ，將公司內的網絡安全地連接到 AWS 上。

今天想跟大家探索一個進階的課題。在 AWS VPN 常見問答集內提到 "You can advertise a maximum of 100 routes to your Site-to-Site VPN connection on a virtual private gateway from your customer gateway device......the BGP session will reset if you attempt to advertise more than the maximum for the gateway type."

假設筆者在 Systematic 內有 101 個網路 (101 routes) 需要宣傳給 AWS，如果直接宣傳 101 routes 給 AWS (下圖 1️⃣ )，就會如 AWS VPN 常見問答集所述，"BGP session will reset" (下圖 2️⃣ )。我們可以怎麼解決這問題?

CCNP Enterprise 國際認可證書課程 (Full Track) 內有教授一個有用的技術可以完美解決這問題，這就是 Route Summarization，根據 Cisco 技術文件，"Route summarization simplifies route tables by replacing many specific addresses with an single address."。筆者經程式計算後，我們可以使用下列 9 條 summarized routes 代表那 101 條 routes。

1: 172.16.1.0/24
2: 172.16.2.0/23
3: 172.16.4.0/22
4: 172.16.8.0/21
5: 172.16.16.0/20
6: 172.16.32.0/19
7: 172.16.64.0/19
8: 172.16.96.0/22
9: 172.16.100.0/23

所以筆者使用 BGP commands 設定路由路只向 AWS 宣傳上述那 9 條 summarized routes。 AWS 收到那 9 條 routes 後 (下圖 4️⃣)，筆者使用一個簡單的 Shell Script (下圖 5️⃣) 在 AWS 的伺服器測試是能夠前往 Systematic 那 101 個網路 (下圖 6️⃣)，結果全部測試都成功。

筆者作為 Cloud 和 AI 技術愛好者，今天想大家分享一件筆者個人認為非常有趣的工具 - AWS DeepLens。AWS DeepLens 是 AWS 的深度學習攝影機 (deep learning enabled video camera)，它能夠執行如 TensorFlow 等的深度學習架構。我們能夠在 DeepLens 內使用已經訓練好的模型 (Models) 和程式 (主要是 Inference Lambda Function) 來編寫電腦視覺軟件。讓筆者透過下圖示範如何使用 AWS DeepLens。

1. 準備 DeepLens [下圖的 1️⃣]

2. 準備模型 (Models)，筆者使用 AWS 預設提供模型 (s3://deeplens-managed-resources-ap-northeast-1-prod/public/samples/models/object_detection)，它能夠分辨不同的物件，例如 Human、Bottle 等。 [下圖的 2️⃣，備註: S3 是 AWS 一項重要的服務，不少 AWS 的服務都會涉及 S3，在 6 月 1 日開課的 AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (Amazon Cloud AWS SAA) 國際認可證書課程會有系統地教授基礎 AWS 架構知識，包括 S3。]

3. 準備程式 [下圖的 3️⃣，備註: AWS Lambda 同樣是 AWS 一項重要的服務，不少 AWS 的服務都會涉及 Lambda，在 6 月 1 日開課的 AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (Amazon Cloud AWS SAA) 國際認可證書課程同樣會教授 Lambda。]

4. 將模型 (Models) 和程式部署到筆者的 DeepLens 內。[下圖的 4️⃣]
