We were delighted to welcome our new parents to the ASHK family today at our New Parent Coffee Morning. It was a pleasure to meet so many new faces, share more about our programs, and watch connections begin to form among our newest community members.

Our Grade 11 students are participating in orientation workshops to prepare for the IB Diploma Program. These sessions equipped them with essential skills and insights to help them navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Today, we welcome back our returning teachers for our all-staff orientation. Through collaboration, team-building, and meaningful discussions, we are planning for an exciting year ahead.

Our Wushu team participated in the USA Washington Presidential Wushu Cup, this year and achieved outstanding results! Congratulations to Dragon (4 Gold, All-Round Champion), Kashu (3 Gold), Grace (4 Gold, 2 Silver, All-Round Champion), Sophie (3 Gold, 2 Silver, 3rd All-Round), Anny (2 Gold, 2 Silver), Kayllie (1 Gold, 2 Silver), Toby (1 Gold, 2 Silver), Lina (1 Gold, 2 Silver), Renee (1 Gold, 1 Silver), and Louisa (1 Silver)!

Congratulations to Moon, who achieved 3rd place at the Creation Kids Land Creative Robot Challenge held in the Tuen Mun and Yuen Long district!

We are thrilled to welcome our new teachers to the ASHK family! This week, they are getting to know our school's mission, culture, and community. Through workshops, team-building activities, and meetings with leadership and fellow staff, our new educators are getting ready for a fantastic year ahead.

Congratulations to Hannah for her outstanding achievements at the YCMAA 9th Hong Kong Youth and Children's Painting Contest in the Primary P.3-4 age group! Hannah earned Gold Awards in both the Free Topic and Animal categories, as well as Champion titles in Beautiful Princess and Cartoon Characters Handcraft. She also achieved Champion in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Drawing Competition. Well done, Hannah!

For the past two weeks, our young performers from KG to G5 have been immersed in the wonderful world of Shrek The Musical—learning the ins and outs of musical theatre through acting, dancing, and singing, all under the expert guidance of Collab.

Tomorrow will be their time to shine. Can't wait to see their performance and celebrate their incredible journey!

Students in KG to Grade 5 are busy creating their own small-scale masterpieces in the Miniature Art summer camp. From tiny figurines to miniature landscapes, our young artists are learning the art of detailed representation, developing fine motor skills, patience, and creativity along the way.
