A comparison between Promession, Bios Urn, and Capsula Mundi as "green" burial methods
A fortnight ago I provided reference materials regarding three green burial
practices: Promession, Bio Urn, and Capsula Mundi. I regarded the materials
thought provoking, and had implored readers to conduct their own research,
and to deliberate on the merits and demerits of the burial practice...

It's all about doing the right amount of right things at the right times.
I still appreciate the joy I had in my second year of kindergarten, when I realized there are certain patterns I could use to deal with simple additions. In contrast, I can still remember my disdain towards the monotonous copybook practices I had to do everyday, following the dotted lines so that I could conform to the "norm".
I believe excessive "drilling" can be harmful to young minds. However, an inadequate amount of intellectual and haptic stimulation may hinder the development of younger individuals.
I really do hope the initiatives that were featured in this SCMP report not be Education Bureau's reactionary measures to regain supports in the aftermath of the TSA debacles.

The College Board has announced the reduction in the number of SAT test dates in 2017.
"THE INTERNATIONAL SAT ADMINISTRATION FOR JUNE 2017 HAS BEEN CANCELED. SAT SUBJECT TESTS WILL STILL BE AVAILABLE IN JUNE 2017."
The schedule for 2017/18 and 2018/19 has been modified as well:
"SAT tests are available in October, December, March, and May, while SAT Subject Tests are available in October, November, December, May, and June."
The test date changes attempt to combat the rampant cheating that has been observed in some international test regions. The change will definitely have an impact on your test preparation efforts.

Some pointers in IGCSE's electromagnetism concepts
A family friend of mine vented that his daughter has been struggling with her study in Physics. The teaching progress was described as insufficient and slow, and my friend's daughter is muddled by her revision sheets. The teacher was quoted expecting students to grasp the concepts of electromagnetis...
