Our Y1 IB Inquirers stepped into the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to experience a live performance of the
classic children's play, The Gruffalo. It was an extraordinary adventure filled with curiosity and reflection.

🏫Y1 | First day of school!
Filled with curiosity and passion for learning, our first-graders have stepped onto campus to officially begin their journey of exploration! 🎈
A new school year marks a new beginning! We hope that at school, the children will not only master inquiry and research skills, embrace new experiences, and achieve balanced development—intellectual, physical, and emotional. Reflecting deeply and thoughtfully on the world, as well as their own ideas and experiences 🤔 But also reap a childhood full of joy and carefree happiness! 🎉

Guided by Masters✨ Kingston Student Dickson Shines on the 2026 Global Stage!

A big congratulations to Kingston International School Y6 graduate Dickson for taking the stage at the 2026 Master & Youth: Liu Shikun International Music Journey! ✨
Throughout this inspiring global trip, Dickson not only showcased his outstanding violin solo performance but also received personal encouragement and mentorship from world-renowned piano master Mr. Liu Shikun 🤝. From dedicated practice sessions to a stellar stage performance, every moment reflected his pure passion for music ❤️.
Special thanks to our incredible teachers for their guidance, and to family and friends for their endless support! Kingston International School remains committed to empowering every student to reach the global stage. We can't wait to see Dickson continue to chase his dreams and shine brightly 🌟!

🏫 How My Kingston Childhood Inspired Me to Become a Teacher 📚

From graduating from Kingston in 2008 to attending CIS and Stanford University, Elliot has now become a primary school teacher. The seed planted back then has truly blossomed into fruit. 🍒
“I still vividly remember how tough Chinese was back then, but Kingston made learning both lighthearted and fun,”he shares. “From showcasing my self-made video game at the exhibition 🎮 to sharing what I was passionate about, that feeling was amazing. Watching the school grow alongside me remains my most cherished memory.”
As part of Kingston‘s second graduating class, he personally witnessed the campus evolve with him. It was precisely this wonderful primary school experience that planted the seed of education in his heart.
“I am truly grateful to Kingston. Having such an incredible primary school journey is what allowed me to choose becoming a teacher.”

2008年從京斯敦畢業，再到漢基國際學校與斯坦福大學，Elliot如今也成為了一名小學教師，當年種下的種子，似乎已經結出了果實🍒
“我至今仍清晰的記得小時候中文真的很難學，但京斯敦把它變得既輕鬆又有趣；還有在展覽上展示我自己製作的電子遊戲🎮能向大家分享自己熱愛的東西，那種感覺真的太棒了；看著學校和我一起成長的過程，是我最珍貴的回憶。”
作為京斯敦第二屆畢業生，他親眼見證了校園與自己一同成長，正是這段溫暖而精彩的小學時光，在他心中種下了教育的種子。

The love and memories of Kingston accompanied me into HKU Med🏫❤️

Having spent almost a decade at Kingston she has now embarked on her 2nd year at HKU Medical School. Her story is a heartwarming reminder of how a loving early environment shapes a bright future.
"I still remember playing tag in the playground on my very first day, so excited yet nervous to make new friends," she recalls. "From rehearsing endlessly for our Year 6 spring concert to Thursday afternoon hockey practices, these memories are forever woven into who I am."
Seeing old team photos on the corridor walls still brings a warm sense of pride and nostalgia. The welcoming culture fostered by the teachers every morning built the very foundation of her confidence today.
"Every morning, stepping into school and being greeted at the door made us feel so welcomed. Thank you to Ms. Ngan for having the vision to build this wonderful community that we all get to call home." ❤️

一路走到小學畢業，她在京斯敦度過了人生最初的十年。如今，帶著在這裡汲取的溫暖和底氣❤️進入了香港大學醫學院，開啟了全新的學習之旅✈️
“我至今仍清晰的記得第一天上小學時，在操場和新朋友玩追逐遊戲的興奮與緊張；還有六年級春季音樂會上🎵大家一起背台詞、練舞蹈、拼搏數月的時光；每週四放學後的曲棍球訓練，更是我最期待的時刻，”

🏫 From Kingston to HKU Medicine: Nurturing Resilience with Love ❤️

From graduating from Kingston in 2013 to entering her final year at HKU Medical School, Summer uses her own story to share what true "growth and confidence" really mean.

"I remember our Year 5 camp at Tung Lung Chau⛺️—no showers for 4 whole days. It was stiflingly hot inside the tents and I was super homesick, yet we pushed through to try abseiling and rock climbing🧗. That was the first time in my life I realized I had to dig deep within myself to find the strength and resilience to keep going."

It was that very girl pushing through in the tent who laid the foundation of resilience to tackle the high pressures of medical school today. During her days at Kingston, she gained far more than just knowledge—she built lifelong friendships and a heart filled with empathy✨.

"It really feels like a big family here🏠. Thank you to the teachers who always encouraged me during tough times, and thank you, Kingston. It is the love here that allows everyone to become the best version of themselves."

從 2013 年從京斯敦畢業，到如今在香港大學醫學院的最後一年，Summer 用她自己的故事，講述了什麼叫做真正的“成長底氣”。
“還記得 5 年級去東龍洲露營⛺️，整整 4 天不能洗澡。在悶熱的帳篷裡想家到不行，還要咬著牙去嘗試岩降和攀岩🧗。那是人生中第一次知道，原來我要去挖掘自己內心的力量與堅韌才能撐下去。”
正是當年那個在帳篷裡咬牙堅持的小女孩，打下了如今面對醫學院高壓依然從容的堅韌基石。在京斯敦的日子裡，收穫的不只是知識，還有一輩子的摯友與滿懷同理心的人格✨
“這裡就像一個大家庭🏠 謝謝老師們一直在困難時刻鼓勵我，也謝謝京斯敦，是這裡的愛，讓每個人都能成為最好的自己。”
