CSD Mainland Study Tour 🇨🇳🌍

On 25 June 2026, our S5 students visited Shenzhen, China as part of their Citizenship and Social Development (CSD) trip, where they set out to learn more about our country. 🎒📚

The students visited Nanshan Museum, Nantou Ancient City, and the Chinese Creative Overseas Park, where they got to engage with a wide variety of activities designed to foster their understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture and development of our country. 🏛️🏘️✨

We are glad to welcome Dr Muhammad Junaid Apabhai to IKTMC on 23 June 2026, as part of our preparations for our upcoming Social Service Day. 🤝✨

Dr Muhammad is a distinguished member of our community, with notable achievements in both academia and the corporate world. Among his many accolades, he holds a Doctorate in Mathematics, is a Hafiz of the Quran, and serves as Citi Bank’s Lead Trading Strategist for Asia Pacific. 📚🏦🕌

During his sharing with our students, Dr Muhammad explained the importance and deeper meaning of volunteerism from an Islamic perspective. He spoke about how his upbringing shaped his values, and how serving others, when done with sincerity and intention, is akin to worship. 🤲💛

He also shared an inspirational quote by Muhammad Ali: “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth.” 🌍❤️

We are thankful for Dr Muhammad for his time and to inspire our students as they embark on a variety of meaningful service projects later this week.

On 14 June, our IKTMC football team competed against the Islamic Education and Care (IECHK) Madrassah team in a friendly football match. ⚽🤝

Although the match was hampered by heavy rain, it still turned out to be an exciting contest, with IECHK coming out on top with a convincing 2–1 victory. 🌧️💪

More importantly, this friendly match was a great opportunity for both teams to hone their skills, stay active, and build a stronger bond within the community. 🏟️✨

在 6 月 14 日，我校足球隊與伊斯蘭教育與照顧清真寺隊進行了一場友誼足球賽。⚽🤝

雖然當天大雨影響了比賽節奏，卻依然帶來緊湊又精彩的對決；最後由 IECHK 以穩健的 2–1 獲勝。🌧️💪

更重要的是，這場友誼賽為兩隊提供了寶貴的交流與鍛煉機會——既能提升技術、保持活力，也能在社區之中建立更緊密的連繫與默契。🏟️✨

Last weekend, 22 and 23 May, our Girl Guides had an unforgettable overnight camp at Lei Yue Mun Holiday Village! 🏕️✨💚

From planning their own dinner 🍳 to exploring historical sites 🏛️, playing fun games 🎲, trying archery 🏹, and creating beautiful handicrafts ✂️ - every moment was packed with laughter, learning, and new experiences.

The Girl Guides also explored an Orientation Trail in Chai Wan 🗺️ to learn even more about our district and discover exciting places along the way. 🧭🌿

We are truly proud of our guides for their teamwork 🤝, independence 💪, and curiosity 🌟



上週末（5月22日和23日），我校女童軍在鯉魚門渡假村度過了一次難忘的宿營！ 🏕️✨💚

從規劃晚餐🍳到探索歷史遺跡🏛️，各種趣味遊戲🎲，射箭體驗🏹，以及製作精美的手工藝品✂️——每一刻都充滿了歡聲笑語、知識和新鮮的體驗。

女童軍們也探索了柴灣的定向步道🗺️，更加了解我們的社區，並沿途發現了令人興奮的地方。 🧭🌿

我們為女童軍們的團隊合作🤝、獨立自主💪和求知欲🌟感到無比自豪。

Our students showcased outstanding mathematical thinking at The Great Bay Area Gifted Make-24 Competition 2026 🧠✨, held on 1 April 🏫.

A total of 28 students delivered impressive results, bringing pride to IKTMC with their problem-solving skills and teamwork 🤝📊.

On 25 May 2026, our S5 BAFS students turned compassion into action at the Charity Bazaar 💛✨

With creativity and dedication, they designed and sold their own tailor-made clothing, raising funds to support communities in Palestine and Lebanon 🇵🇸🇱🇧 Their efforts reflected not only entrepreneurial spirit, but also a deep sense of empathy and global citizenship 🌍

We are incredibly proud of every student who contributed, participated, and showed that even small actions can create meaningful change. Your kindness and initiative truly made a difference 💫
