The British Council was proud to co-present the Study UK University Fair 2026 with the Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council (HKDSSSC) and the Hong Kong Association of Careers Masters and Guidance Masters (HKACMGM), helping students and families explore the diverse opportunities that a UK education can offer.
Bringing together 51 UK universities and attracting more than 600 participants, the fair provided direct access to university representatives, expert guidance on UCAS applications, scholarships and student life, as well as valuable insights into academic pathways and future careers.
The fair formed part of the British Council's wider 10-day School Engagement Week, which connected UK institutions with schools, students and parents across Hong Kong through a series of outreach activities and engagement opportunities. Together, these efforts achieved impressive results:
✅ 58 UK universities participated
✅ 9,300+ students and parents engaged
✅ 16 direct school visits conducted
✅ Representatives connected with students and parents from more than 30 schools
By bringing together students, schools and UK institutions, the British Council continues to empower young people to make informed decisions about their future and access world-class education opportunities in the UK.
