Today, July 31, 2026, marks the final operational day of Kwok Man School Anglo-Chinese Kindergarten· Nursery. Having journeyed through 13 wonderful years, our campus—filled with laughter and love—officially comes to a most fulfilling and honorable conclusion today.

At this special moment, with hearts full of profound gratitude, we bid farewell to each and every one of you who has been part of our story:

To all sectors of society and our dear Cheung Chau neighbors: Thank you for your selfless care, warmth, and support over the years, allowing our children to grow up happily in such a caring community.

To our alumni and parents: Thank you for your trust and faith in us. Thank you for entrusting us with your children's precious early years and creating countless heartwarming memories together with us.

To our dearest KMKG babies: Thank you for bringing pure joy, laughter, and touching moments to our campus. Every single milestone you achieved has been our greatest pride.

Wonderful news! Three of our children took part in the LCM (London College of Music) Music Certificate Examination in early July. Demonstrating exceptional talent during this rigorous international assessment, all three students passed with flying colors, each achieving the highest award—Distinction! 🏆✨
Such an outstanding achievement is certainly no coincidence; it is the result of dedication and hard work from so many people:

* 💖 Thank you to our Principal for her extraordinary vision: By introducing the internationally recognized LCM music curriculum to Cheung Chau, she broke geographical boundaries, opening the doors of music and the arts for our island’s children while broadening their horizons and confidence!

* 👩‍🏫 Thank you to our teachers for their patient guidance: With immense patience and professionalism, they tailored their teaching to every child, walking beside them to overcome challenges, refine their skills, and spark their inner musical potential.

雖然一所學校的名字會走入歷史，但我們在這裡種下的愛的種子，早就深深紮根在大家心裡。長洲很大，但同時也很小，未來的日子，我們在長洲的街頭巷尾一定會再相見。

當全場百幾人高舉手袋與熊仔，排山倒海般齊聲大喊：「國民幼稚園，後會有期！」 那份瀟灑與傲骨，為我們寫下了最完美、最光榮的終章！

Witnessed by the gentle sea breeze of Cheung Chau and a vast sea of stars, the final "Farewell Evening" in the history of KMKG has come to a beautiful close. On this night, the school hall was filled with the deepest emotions gathered over the past 13 years—there was immense reluctance to say goodbye, but even more so, a sense of groundbreaking pride and honor. The tears on stage and the applause from the audience intertwined, creating the most touching and powerful historic moment shared with all our island neighbors.

Looking back at that beautiful and honorable journey that night, every single carefully crafted detail has been deeply engraved in everyone's hearts:

* 🎙️ Innocent Mic-Testing, Lifting the Curtain: The evening kicked off with the most innocent and adorable "mic-testing announcement" by our children. Their sweet words—"sit tight, just like you're stuck with velcro"—instantly warmed the entire room, bringing the purest joy to this historic night.
* 🎞️ 76 Pages of Memories, A Chorus of Love: Principal Chau personally took the microphone as the master of ceremonies to walk this final step with everyone. As the big screen played snippets of the children's rich school life, accompanied by a chorus recorded by all our precious babies in the background, parents listened with their hearts, trying to distinguish the unique and proud voice of their own child. Tears glistened in the dimmed lights, showcasing the tight-knit unity of our big school family.
* 🤝 Hand-in-Hand Transmission, Future New Uniforms: The stage, which originally belonged only to the K3 graduates, welcomed the K2 juniors for a hand-in-hand chorus, using their tender yet powerful voices to fill the void of next year's absence. The K1 babies then made a grand finale appearance wearing their "brand-new future uniforms," specially gifted early by the school to ensure no regrets were left behind. This signifies that even if the environment changes tomorrow, the school's love and expectations will always accompany the children forward.
* 🐢 Soul Partner, Love and Trust: Our school’s soul partner—"Bouncy" the tortoise—was officially entrusted by the children to our most respected School Supervisor, Mr. Ho Chi Choi, in front of the entire audience. This warm and sacred ceremony lifted a huge weight off the children's minds, fully demonstrating KMKG's selfless love for every single life.
* 💼 Designer Handbags, A Historic Visual: The ultimate surprise of the night was undoubtedly when the mothers in the audience collectively raised their hand-painted Mother's Day bags, while Principal Chow presented the teaching and staff team—who held the line until the very last second—with custom "designer handbags" hand-drawn by the children with the staff's names on them. The unyielding educational spirit of our teachers has sculpted this group of the finest babies on the island—they are the true "designer labels" the school is most proud of!
* 🕯️ Lights-Out Ceremony, An Honorable Proclamation: Amidst the resounding voices of everyone singing the school-hymn for the very last time, the most solemn moment arrived. As Supervisor Ho turned off the final school light, the school logo on the big screen slowly put on a graduation cap. Principal Chow proclaimed with immense pride: “KMKG officially graduates!" Although the lights in the main hall have gone out, the fire of spirit planted by the school in the children's hearts has just been lit!

Although the name of a school will become history, the seeds of love we have planted here have long taken deep root in everyone's hearts. Cheung Chau is big, yet it is also very small. In the days to come, we will surely meet again in the streets and alleys of Cheung Chau.

As the crowd of over a hundred people raised their handbags and teddy bears, shouting in unison like a crashing wave: “KMKG, we shall meet again!" That elegance and pride wrote the most perfect and honorable finale for us!

Thank you to all school board members, teachers, parents, and children. Our group of "knowledgeable and confident" KMKG babies will carry this inner strength wherever they go in the future, continuing to shine and thrive with vibrant life just like resilient little grass! 💪🔥🌟

為了答謝大家過去幾年的愛護，K3 的寶貝們當晚使出渾身解數，在舞台上非常落力地演出。看著他們自信的舞步和亮麗的笑容，台下的爸爸媽媽和老師們都感動得熱淚盈眶。孩子們用精彩的表演，為自己的幼稚園生涯畫上了最完美的句號！

Filled with laughter and sweet memories, our K3 Graduation Party came to a wonderful close earlier! This special evening marked the beautiful finale of our children’s kindergarten journey, serving as the perfect moment for them to express their deepest love and gratitude to their parents, teachers, and dear peers.

To thank everyone for their continuous love and support over the past few years, our K3 babies gave it their absolute all on stage with an incredibly dedicated performance. Watching their confident moves and bright smiles, parents and teachers in the audience were deeply moved. Through their spectacular performance, the children wrapped up their kindergarten life perfectly!

In addition to the wonderful stage performances, the evening featured exciting parent-child interactive games! Parents and children held hands and teamed up, filling the hall with bursts of laughter, pushing the atmosphere to its peak, and sharing an incredibly joyful and heartwarming night together.

Once again, our school’s "Magic Box" was packed with precious memories. Our dearest K3 babies, you have officially graduated!

Earlier, our K2 and K3 children, filled with immense curiosity and excitement, headed over to Kwok Man School for an incredibly fun and lively "Primary One Experience Class"! 🎉
To give our kindergarten babies an early taste of primary school life, the teachers at National School specially tailored three wonderful and unique classes that day, allowing the children to immerse themselves in a joyful learning environment:

* 🔤 Lively & Fun English Class: Through engaging interactive games and expressive body language, the teacher guided the children to learn English through laughter. The kids quickly discovered that primary school English classes could be so dynamic and fascinating!
* 🏃‍♂️ Energetic Physical Education Class: Out on the spacious primary school playground, the children ran to their hearts' content and took on various physical mini-challenges. Their sweaty, smiling faces shone with absolute confidence and vitality!
* 🤖 Exploring the Future in STEM Class: This class truly lit up the eyes of our little scientists! Through hands-on experiments and scientific exploration, the children exercised their minds through play, deeply experiencing the endless possibilities of technology and creativity!

During this talent show, our children brought out their very best, and every single one of them did an amazing job:
🎤 Confident Solo Showcases: Some of our babies stood solo on stage, reciting, singing, and storytelling with such poise and confidence—their steady stage presence was just like that of professional young actors!
💃 Dynamic Dances & Martial Arts: From high-energy street dance and adorable rhythmic routines to powerful martial arts displays, they successfully brought the house down and pushed the atmosphere to its absolute peak!
🎹 Melodious Instrumental Performances: Piano, percussion, and more... beautiful melodies flowed effortlessly from their fingertips, showcasing the dedication and solid foundation they have built on their musical journeys!
"One minute on stage takes years of practice." Seeing the "knowledgeable and confident" smiles on our children's faces, along with their courage to try new things and break through their limits, brought boundless warmth and pride to all the teachers and the Principal watching from below!

These brave little sprouts who shined so brightly on stage will undoubtedly use their talents and confidence to achieve spectacular things wherever they go in the future! 💪🔥

當西方現代的 Drum Circle（鼓圈） 遇上傳統的中華律動，會在校園擦出怎樣的火花？

為了讓國民寶貝們體驗聲音的凝聚力，我們特別邀請了專業的音樂導師來到校園，帶領小朋友進行了一場震撼心靈的「中華鼓圈與敲擊樂體驗」！
雖然 Drum Circle 是一種好玩、互動性極強的現代合奏形式，但在導師的巧妙帶領下，我們將其融入了豐富的中華文化精神：

* 🥁 鼓樂齊鳴，傳承中華凝聚力：在傳統文化中，「鼓」象徵著鼓舞士氣與團結心靈。小朋友們圍成一個和諧的圓圈，代表著中華文化中「圓滿、和諧與團結」的寓意。
* 敲擊百變樂器，體驗「和而不同」：孩子們手持各種大小、音色各異的敲擊樂器，在導師的引領下，從亂中有序到齊心合奏。這正正體現了中華哲學中「五音和諧、和而不同」的包容與美德！

What happens when the modern Western Drum Circle meets the rhythmic spirit of Traditional Chinese Culture? Pure magic on campus!
To let our KMKG babies experience the incredible power of sound and unity, we specially invited professional music instructors to lead our children in an exhilarating "Chinese Drum Circle & Percussion Experience"!
While a Drum Circle is a fun, highly interactive modern ensemble, our instructors masterfully wove the core values of Chinese cultural philosophy into the session:
* 🥁 Resonance of the Drums: Celebrating Unity：In traditional Chinese culture, the "drum" symbolizes uplifting morale and uniting hearts. By gathering our children in a harmonious circle, it beautifully reflects the traditional Chinese values of "Harmony, Completeness, and Unity" (圓滿與團結).
* 🎶 A Symphony of Diverse Instruments: Embracing "Harmony in Diversity"：Holding various percussion instruments—each with its own unique size and tone—the children learned to play in sync under the instructor's guidance. This perfectly embodies the ancient Chinese philosophical concept of "Harmony in Diversity" (和而不同), where different voices come together to create a beautiful, inclusive whole.
* 🗣️ Rhythms Intertwined: Building Confidence and Courage：Every time a drumstick was raised, and every precise beat made, our children showcased their immense courage and self-expression. 我哋國民幼稚園嘅禮堂，竟然一夜之間變成咗「紅館」演唱會現場？！

為咗讓小朋友體驗最真實的社區與社會百態，我們在校園這個「百變盒子」裡，為孩子們打造了一場別開生面的【中華文化金曲演唱會】！
這不只是一場表演，更是一次沉浸式的社會生活體驗：

🎫 售票處實習：小朋友要親自去「售票處」排隊買演唱會飛，學習購幣與社交禮儀。
💁‍♂️ 座位引導：手持門票入場，由專業的「大會工作人員」禮貌帶位。
🌟 專業應援團：每個座位上都貼心放置了專屬「粉絲手幅」同「螢光棒」，氣氛瞬間拉滿！
當全場燈光暗下，孩子們用最意想不到、充滿驚喜與崇拜的眼神，迎來了他們的超級偶像——嘉芙姐姐！全場歡呼聲與尖叫聲簡真響徹校園！

Did you know that the school hall of KMKG has transformed into a live "Hong Kong Coliseum" concert overnight?!

To provide our children with a realistic experience of society and community life, we have turned our campus into a "Magic Box" and created a spectacular 【Chinese Culture Golden Hits Concert】for them!

This is not just a performance, but an immersive experience of social life:
🎫 Ticket Office Practice: Children queued up at the "Ticket Office" to buy their own concert tickets, learning about purchasing and social etiquette.

💁‍♂️ Seating Guidance: Holding their tickets, they entered the venue and were politely guided to their seats by our professional "event staff".

🌟 Professional Cheering Squad: Exclusive "fan banners" and "glow sticks" were thoughtfully placed on every single seat, instantly pumping up the concert atmosphere!
As the lights dimmed across the hall, the children welcomed their ultimate idol, Miss Katherine, with the most unexpected eyes full of surprise and admiration! The cheers and screams echoed throughout the entire campus!

Under the guidance of Miss Katherine, this adorable cheering squad joined together to:

🎨🌈【K3 Messy Paint：望穿秋水！終於輪到我哋大顯身手喇！💥】
看著師弟師妹之前玩得那麼開心，我們 K3 的大哥哥大姐姐「望穿秋水」，今天終於輪到他們大玩特玩 Messy Paint 喇！

誰說畫畫一定要坐定定、在小小的畫紙上畫？在國民幼稚園，整個空間都是孩子們的巨型畫布！這次，老師們解鎖了新玩法，讓小朋友在地板上、雨傘上、畫紙上，甚至是立體的帳幕上自由揮灑色彩。

沒有規限，只有想像力！看著孩子們全身心投入，手腳並用，把五彩繽紛的顏料塗抹在不同的質感上，每一把雨傘、每一個帳幕，瞬間變成了長洲最獨一無二的藝術品。🎨✨

After watching their younger schoolmates have so much fun, our K3 big brothers and sisters have been eagerly waiting for this day—and it’s finally their turn to dive into Messy Paint!

Who says drawing has to be done sitting still on a tiny piece of paper? At Kwok Man Kindergarten, the entire space is our children's giant canvas! This time, our teachers unlocked brand-new ways to play, letting the children unleash their creativity freely on the floor, umbrellas, drawing paper, and even inside and outside 3D tents!

No boundaries, only pure imagination! It was beautiful to see the children fully immersed, using both their hands and feet to splash vibrant colors onto different textures. In an instant, every umbrella and every tent was transformed into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece in Cheung Chau. 🎨✨

We firmly believe that Messy Paint not only stimulates children's sensory development but also teaches them to think outside the box and express themselves boldly. Seeing their paint-covered bodies and their brightest smiles, this unconstrained joy is truly the best pre-graduation gift! 🎁❤️
