Hong Kong Reads launched a reading seminar ‘Passion for reading’ on 15th July 2017. The event was jointly organized by Hong Kong Reads Literacy Society, i-Learner, Nebula Group Limited and The University of Hong Kong’s School of English. At the seminar, we were honoured to have, we were honoured to have Miss Riona Kelly, Mr. Charles Britton, Miss Juliet Armstrong, Mr. Patryk , Miss Hatty Darling and Mr. Andrej Laloiv with us. They are i-Learner Education Centre's summer English tutors from Cambridge University and Oxford University. They shared their love for reading and their learning experiences with the audience.

The launch ceremony of Hong Kong Reads was held on 5th March 2017. The event was jointly organized by Hong Kong Reads Literacy Society, i-Learner, Nebula Group Limited and School of English, the University of Hong Kong. We were pleased to have school principals and teachers with us to officiate the start off of many exciting activities of Hong Kong Reads in 2017-18.

Hong Kong Reads launched a reading seminar on 10th July 2016. The event was jointly organized by Hong Kong Reads Literacy Society, i-Learner, Nebula Group Limited and School of English, the University of Hong Kong. At the seminar, we were honoured to have Miss Cynthia Otote, Mr. Kenneth McHardy, Mr. Rory Alexander, Miss. Alice Lee, Miss Vidya Ramesh and Miss Evie Aspinall with us. They are i-Learner Education Centre's summer English Tutors who are from either Cambridge University or Oxford University. They shared their love of reading and their learning experience with the audience.

The event was jointly organized by Hong Kong Reads Literacy Society, i-Learner, Nebula Group Limited and School of English, the University of Hong Kong. The guests of honour at the seminar was Mr Bobby Tam, who is the author of Echos to the End and he shared his fantastic ideas with the audience.

Dear Student,

At last the exams are over, and we can finally turn our attentions to more relaxing and creative projects. It is time for you to show us what you’ve got in the 2013 Hong Kong Reads Book Advertising Competition!
We want you to produce a video promoting your favourite English book and encouraging other students to read it.

•The first 10 students to submit their video will get a free Broadway movie ticket! You could watch any movie you like at Broadway Theatre with the free ticket. More excitingly, the winner of the competition will get 5 Broadway movie tickets and also our special winner prize!
•Videos should not exceed one minute in length.
•Teams are free to determine the style of their entry. Drama, narrative, jingles or comedy are just some of the directions you could take.
•The last date for the submission of your project is June 30th, 2013. Please upload to Hong Kong Reads Official page.
