MSc Graduation Dinner 2022

The MSc Graduation Dinner of the Department of Computer Science was held on 1 December 2022. More than 110 graduates, guests and teachers attended and had a memorable evening.

The dinner began with the speech from Dr KP Chow, our Programme Director, in which he greeted and congratulated all graduates for their great achievements after putting in so much effort over the past 2 years.

Special thanks to Mr Patrick Lee (from ECIC) and Mr Tommy Koo (from MScCS) representing Class 2022 as the MCs of the dinner.

The MSc(ECom&IComp) Case Study Project Presentations was held on 22 Nov 2021. Five teams of students were presenting their innovative e-commerce business plan after months of hard work.

As part of the capstone experience, students work as teams on E‐Commerce startup businesses encompassing market research, competitive analysis, business innovation, marketing plan, real ex*****on or simulation, financial analysis and so on. The presentation is an important moment for the students to showcase the integration of what they have learnt throughout the programme to apply the knowledge to their own businesses.

The Welcoming Reception for Cohort 2022 students was held on 30 August 2022. Dr KP Chow, Programme Director, welcomed our new students and introduced the programme features. We were pleased to have over 90 new students joining us. It was a great opportunity for new students to mingle with teachers, other students, alumni and staff in a warm and cozy ambience.

The new MEICOM Alumni Association President, Michael Lo, introduced the MEICOM Association to students and shared their experiences on the programme.
