FINAL SCORE: IS 8-0 TYH
Thanks to Casey Moser's amazing debut , the Islanders' offense cruised past TYH's defence.
Unfortunately, the Islanders have to study hard for their upcoming IB mock exam and will have to forfeit their final game against Queens college, putting them at 3rd place with 2 wins and 3 losses.
This marks the end of the 2015-2016 campaign, we deeply thank all of our fans and supporters as well as the players themselves.
However, this does not mark the end of our amazing journey, as the Islanders will host numerous friendlies against more well known teams and continue to strive and improve.
We hope to see you all in the near future, !
Right now, the Islanders have a record of 1 Win and 1 Loss and are currently sitting at 3rd place in their table.
In the next game, the boys will be against Yung Yau Secondary School.
The Islanders will face a tough battle fighting for second place as schools are pushing to their limit to obtain some silverware.
Good luck to the Islanders!
If anyone has a free period 5 tomorrow and would like to come and watch the Islanders play against the reigning champions KTMC-A, you are more than welcome to come and cheer for us! The bus will leave at 1:30, so if you are willing to come, please either just get on the bus or message us. (We do not encourage non-players who has lesson during p5 to come as mocks are nearby!)
Good luck to the Islanders who will be playing their first competitive game against Notre Dame College today at the Hong Kong Secondary School Baseball Elite Championship 2016!

Hey guys, first of all, we are terribly sorry for not uploading much. We have been really busy these couple of months and therefore could not find much time to post things on this page, dont worry, we havent forgotten our fans!
The team has just won the schools Senior Awards prize for being the best sports team! We are honoured to accept this awards as it means a lot to us.
Many of our competitors have won major competitions such as ESF tournaments and ISSFHK competitions. If the award was about performing the best in competitions, we would come dead last as we have only played 2 friendlies and we lost both of them.
Nonetheless, this award was given to the most committed and hard-working team, that greatly demonstrated the importance of teamwork and having fun while playing the sport.
In terms of commitment, we believe that no other sports team can top us. From a dream that seemed impossible at first, we managed to overcome numerous obstacles and finally became an official school team.
This is also the first student led team that became an official team . We believe that without commitment and dedication, the baseball team would still be a dream.
We would like to thank all of the supporters who supported us till this stage. I would like to massively thank Cali-Mex and Where's Wally? for being our sponsors. Without them, we would be left with huge financial struggles and might not even be able to actually make the team official. With their extra support and help, we managed to purchase jerseys and other fundamental equipments. Once again, we would like to massively thank them for their generosity and help.

The team held tryouts in Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park a few weeks ago, players were tested by their fielding and batting as well as pressured situation! Once again, credits to our official IS Baseball team photographer Noah Chang!

The team held another productive practice session today where players ran through basic drills covering fielding, throwing, batting, and baserunning! With this knowledge, both beginners and experienced players were able to refresh their baseball skills, and are now ready to translate their progress into an actual game environment! Credit goes to Noah Chang, an abstract artist and our official team photographer; make sure to check out his future works!

The founders of our baseball team, Fergus Chan, Heng-Jeung Yuen, and Justin Chang bravely ventured to Redbull HK in hopes of securing a sponsorship; however, as baseball wasn't deemed to be 'extreme' enough, they were turned down. On the bright side though, they came home with 98 cans of RedBull, so look forward to our players growing wings soon!
Heavy showers of rain and thunder storms kept the Islanders from their first official training today, hopefully the weather will get better before the next training session!
