プリクラ的歷史可以追溯到1995年7月25日，當時由SEGA推出的「プリント倶楽部®」正式面世。這款機器迅速迎合市場需求，至1997年便累計出貨22,000台，成為熱門商品。此機器的魅力在於其可即時拍攝並印刷照片，帶給年輕人全新的樂趣📸。最初設置於遊戲中心的プリクラ，雖然起初反響不大，但隨著年輕人的關注和參與，這項文化迅速流行開來。
