🎉【Asbury Community Cultural Festival — A Journey of Empathy from the Heart】🎉

Following the highly acclaimed "Empathy Week" last year, Asbury Methodist Primary School has upgraded the scale this year to hold a five-day "Asbury Community Cultural Festival"! 🌟

👵 P1–P2 [Elderly Care]: Transform into "Little Elders" to experience daily challenges faced by seniors, visit seniors' homes and play games together
🔍 P3–P4 [Lai King Observers]: Wander through the community streets and rediscover its hidden beauties
🕌 P5–P6 [Multiculturalism & Planning]: Visit the mosque, taste South Asian snacks, and serve as "Community Planners"

✨ Students have transformed from having limited knowledge of unfamiliar cultures to being able to explain the concept of inclusivity in detail. They have become "Cultural Ambassadors" and "CommunityLittle Leaders" — this confidence and transformation is truly inspiring! 💕

[“Ciao UFO” Parent movie screening: Stepping into Your Child’s World]

“Ciao UFO” won multiple awards at the 44th Hong Kong Film Awards. We are honored to invite the director and the producer, screenwriter, and co-writer to share their insights at this event.

Many scenes in the film were shot on the Asbury school campus, adding a special connection and a sense of warmth to this parent education activity.

Thank you to all kindergartens, parents, and children for your enthusiastic support of the competition. The response was overwhelming, with over 150 wonderful entries received. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s participation and support. 🎨👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

After careful evaluation by our panel of judges, the results are now ready. Winners will be notified individually by message 📩🏆
All participants will receive a participation certificate in recognition of their creativity and effort ✨

All entries will be displayed in an art exhibition on 20 June. Participants are warmly invited to visit Asbury Methodist Primary School between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on that day to view the artwork.

上星期，15位家長一同到「秘密花園」參加麵包造型體驗班 🍞🌿 在導師細心指導下，大家學習兩款麵包造型技巧，同時發揮創意，親手製作屬於自己的麵包作品 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 每一刻等待麵包出爐的過程，既緊張又充滿期待 😆🔥 現場氣氛熱鬧而溫馨 💛

活動期間，家長們一邊享用精緻豐富的午餐 🥗🍽️ 一邊分享親子教育心得 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💬 彼此交流經驗、互相支持與鼓勵 🤝 透過這次輕鬆而有意義的聚會，不僅讓家長放鬆身心，也促進了正向的家長教育與社群連結 🌱

這是一個充滿收穫與幸福感的美好一天 ✨

【Parent Education Activity | Learning Through Baking, Relaxing the Mind, and Nurturing Parent-Child Growth 🥰】

Last week, 15 parents visited the “Secret Garden” to join a bread-shaping workshop 🍞🌿 Under the instructor’s guidance, they learned two bread-shaping techniques while unleashing their creativity to craft their own unique creations 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 The anticipation while waiting for the bread to come out of the oven was both exciting and nerve-wracking 😆🔥 The atmosphere was lively and heartwarming 💛

During the activity, parents enjoyed a delicious lunch 🥗🍽️ while sharing parenting experiences and insights 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💬 They exchanged ideas, supported one another, and built meaningful connections 🤝 Through this relaxing and meaningful gathering, parents not only had a chance to unwind, but also strengthened positive parenting practices and community bonding 🌱

It was truly a fulfilling and joyful day ✨

本校現正辦理 2026/2027 學年度小一（統一派位）入學註冊手續及小二至小五插班生申請。敬請家長留意相關日期及所需文件，並按時辦理手續。

小一（統一派位）入學註冊手續
日期：2026年6月9日至10日（星期二至三）
時間：上午9:00至下午5:00
所需文件包括：
- 小一註冊證（由教育局發出）
- 學童之香港出生證明書正、副本
- 家長／監護人之身份證明文件正、副本
- 住址證明副本

小一（叩門生）申請
小一叩門程序：2026年6月3日至6日
面試通知：2026年6月13日
申請人須先向校務處索取或從本校網頁下載申請表格，並提交以下文件：
- 學童註冊證（副本）
- 出世紙及學生相片
- 填妥之本校申請表
- 參考之個人簡表（如幼稚園成績表）

注意事項
- 已於自行分配學位階段完成註冊者，毋須再次到校辦理手續。
- 註冊當天，家長須攜同子女到校辦理手續。
- 如家長未能於指定日期註冊，則當作自動放棄學位論。
- 如遇惡劣天氣或其他特殊情況，請留意電台及電視台有關統一派位或小一註冊的特別安排。

Our school is now processing the 2026/2027 Primary One Central Allocation admission registration and Primary Two to Primary Five transfer student applications. Parents are kindly reminded to note the relevant dates and required documents, and to complete the procedures on time.

Primary One (Central Allocation) Admission Registration
Date: 9–10 June 2026 (Tuesday to Wednesday)
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Required documents:
- Primary One Registration Card (issued by the Education Bureau)
- Original and copy of the child’s Hong Kong Birth Certificate
- Original and copy of parent/guardian’s identity document
- Copy of proof of address

Primary One “Knock-door” Application
Knock-door application period: 3–6 June 2026
Interview notification: 13 June 2026
Applicants should first obtain the application form from the School Office or download it from our school website, and submit the following documents:
- Copy of the child’s Registration Card
- Copy of birth certificate and student photo
- Completed school application form
- Reference materials such as a kindergarten report card, if available

Notes:
- Parents who have already completed registration under the Discretionary Places Stage do not need to come to the school again.
- Parents must bring their child to the school on the registration day.
- Failure to register on the specified date will be regarded as a waiver of the school place.
- In the event of adverse weather or other special circumstances, please pay attention to announcements on radio and television regarding special arrangements for the Central Allocation or Primary One registration.

說起關愛團結，
亞小同學一定會想起這個生命素質的代表英熊—團團！
這次團團連同卓巴一起參與了「亞小社區文化祭」，
與亞小一眾師生經歷苦與樂💕

劇中的「衝衝子」焦晴，
從一開始對「慢慢來」的徐小曼極無耐性，
抱怨老師為何將他們分配到同一組，
慢慢學會了如何包容、接納，
學會接受每個人都有不同的才能，
明白他人的需要🫂

我校舉辦「亞小社區文化祭」的目的，
不只是讓孩子更深入認識社區，
我們更希望在亞小學生的生命成長經歷中，
學習如何與人和諧共處，
明白對方的感受，
這正是建立同理心的第一步💗👣
