🛡️ Learning self-control, finding calm 🌱

At JEMS, we truly care about every child’s emotional growth and well-being. One of our students shared how they used to feel angry very easily — sometimes screaming, throwing things, and crying. Through learning about self-control at JEMS, they slowly began to understand their feelings and find gentler ways to respond.

Now, instead of reacting right away, they are learning to pause, breathe, and choose a calmer response. We are so proud to support our students on this journey, because every small step helps them grow with more confidence, resilience, and love. 🌊✨

Similar to the Duke of Edinburgh Award, this internationally recognised programme encourages students to step out of their comfort zones and complete challenges. Throughout the year, children will take part in fun, real-world challenges designed to build:

The Junior Duke Award is seamlessly embedded into every level of our Annual Programme. This means that when your child completes their year at JEMS, they will also earn their Junior Duke Award, along with a certificate and badge to celebrate their achievement! 🏅📜
