The Hiking Society was founded as the 'Hiking Club' in year 2002, the year after the establishment of the PolyU-HKCC. In year 2012, during the term of the 10th cabinet, the 'Hiking Club' was renamed as 'Hiking Society' at the request of the HKCCSU. The word 'Club' was therefore deleted from the logo of the society in the same year. Past Event:
