I am a native speaker of Cantonese and have over 9 years' teaching experience after achieving my master's degree in Teaching Chinese as A Foreign Language. Most of my students are adult learners from all over the world and the class size varies from 1 to 20. My teaching style is interactive and communicative so students can engage themselves easily in conversations and they can reach their expected level of comprehension and fluency in speaking in 1 year.

Hi! My name is Sofi. I have been teaching English for over 7 years. I have taught children
between the ages of 18months to 12 years old.

I am a chinese american who speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese and German. Having grown up in a bilingual household (English and Cantonese), I have always had a fascination for languages and cultures which later prompted me to move to the US then subsequently to Switzerland. My experience abroad has allowed me to appreciate language as a window to the culture and history of the countries that speak it. That is why I agree with Jumbo Tutor's teaching principle of having native speakers to teach their mother tongues, as students learn faster when a context is added to what they are learning.

I have experience tutoring students in the past, though not specific to languages learning, I believe my passion for languages would make me a good English teacher.
