你係咪都試過將 “three” 講成 “free”？
HK人最常讀錯嘅 TH sound，其實有一個簡單方法：
TH = 舌尖輕放牙齒之間 + 吹氣
唔係 F。
唔係 T。
唔係 D。
常見錯誤：
free apples → three apples
tin → thin
tank you → thank you
tird floor → third floor
Bonus：
this / that / mother 都係 TH。
舌頭位置一樣，但聲帶會震。
試講一次：Three thirsty thieves

今日學一句：“You’re on the ball.”
呢句唔係講「波」。
意思係：一個人反應快、夠醒目、準備充足。
例如：
“She’s really on the ball with deadlines.”
即係：佢處理 deadlines 好快、好穩陣，唔容易甩漏。
你可以用嚟讚同事、同學，或者 casual meeting 入面表達欣賞。
但如果係 formal client report，就會有少少太口語。

你寫 email 係咪成日不確定用 about、to 定 for？
其實係有規律㗎 — 唔係靠感覺，係靠動詞本身。
Discuss 後面唔需要 about，contact 後面唔需要 to。

其實唔係個個識。呢個 -ing tense trap 香港人99%都中過 👇
🟢 SIMPLE = 習慣／恆常 (“I work in finance”)
🟢 CONTINUOUS (-ing) = 而家／暫時 (“I’m working from home today”)
❌ “I have dinner now” → ✅ “I’m having dinner”
❌ “I read a book now” → ✅ “I’m reading a book”
❌ “What you doing?” → ✅ “What ARE you doing?”
❌ “I am live in HK” → ✅ “I live in HK”
⚠️ Bonus trap — state verbs (like / love / want / know) 唔加 -ing：
❌ I’m liking it → ✅ I like it
❌ I’m wanting coffee → ✅ I want coffee
💡 記住：見到 “now” → 通常用 -ing。永久狀況 → 唔加 -ing。
