Public Talk and Museum Guided Tour on “Everything you need to know about the dinosaur world”

Our Stephen Hui Geological Museum is hosting a public talk and museum guided tour titled “Everything you need to know about the dinosaur world” on December 7, 2024, from 13:00 to 15:00. We are delighted to announce that Professor Su-Chin Chang, an esteemed geologist specializing in high-resolution dating of evolutionary events from the Earth Sciences Department at the University of Hong Kong, will be our guest speaker.

Professor Chang collaborates closely with experts from the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology in Beijing, who recently have identified dinosaur fossil specimens collected on Port Island, Hong Kong.

Following Professor Chang's enlightening presentation, Dr. Haz Cheung, our Museum's assistant curator, will lead a captivating tour of the museum. The tour will offer a deep dive into fossils from ancient times to the contemporary era. Immerse yourself in a journey through the annals of our planet's history with us.
