On 22 April, M+ Matters will return with a free, one-day symposium on 'How to Build a Better Metaverse', featuring three panel discussions and an interactive workshop. M+ will examine how the metaverse manifests as a technological product and its relationship to visual art, moving image, design and architecture, and beyond.

This past month we were very excited to work with M21 to deliver XR experience sessions to the city’s primary and secondary school teachers and educators as our first collaboration.
We introduced the application of XR, the benefits of XR for students, and explored the Metaverse via VIVE Focus 3.

This summer, we had the opportunity and collaborated with Hope of the City Foundation. We hosted a series of experience sessions for youths who are interested in metaverse.
We hope the youths can enjoy the summer holidays while getting to know more about fundamentals of metaverse and game design.

Artificial Intelligence in Games and The Metaverse
Our guest speaker, James Chan, shared the application of machine learning in game design with NPC examples and 3D model generations projects.
James studied Computer Science because of his passion in game development. Pursued a Mphil degree for the interest in Al and Computer Graphics. Working in HKU as a Research Assistant to participate in authenic VR application development.
