"Healthy Life, No Drugs" Generative AI Poster Design Competition
To ensure our students keep pace with the times while cultivating upright values, the Citizenship, Economics and Society Department recently led students to participate in the "Healthy Life, Drug-Free Journey" Generative AI Poster Design Competition (2025/26), co-organised by the Education Bureau and The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. Prior to the competition, teachers accompanied students to a preparatory workshop on March 7, where they learned how to utilise generative AI tools for poster design, thereby enhancing their digital literacy as well as their media and information literacy. This event aimed to equip students with hands-on information technology skills in AI generation while encouraging them to reflect on the dangers of drugs and establish a positive outlook on life during the creative process. Our students achieved outstanding results in the competition; notably, Wong Ching Lam from Class 2B stood out among numerous contestants with his creative design and profound anti-drug message, winning the Merit Award and being invited to receive the award at the presentation ceremony within the Learning & Teaching Expo. Furthermore, thanks to the enthusiastic support and active participation of all our students, our school was also honoured with the Bronze Award for Most Active Participating School—a truly commendable achievement! The school once again congratulates Wong Ching Lam and expresses heartfelt gratitude to our teachers for their dedicated guidance and to all students for their enthusiastic involvement. We hope our students will continue to embrace new challenges, unleash their potential in diverse competitions, and work together to promote a healthy and drug-free campus life!

A Journey of Faith: Two Gospel Camps
To conclude the academic year, BHJS organised two gospel camps that offered students meaningful opportunities to grow in faith and experience Christian fellowship. While the Joint-school Gospel Camp brought together students from Anglican secondary schools for a three-day residential experience, the BHJS Gospel Evening Camp captured the essence of a traditional residential camping trip in a meaningful one-day programme. Although different in format, both camps shared the same mission—to lead students to encounter God’s love, strengthen their faith, and build lasting friendships.
Growing Together in Faith: Joint-school Gospel Camp
From 30 June to 2 July, seven BHJS students joined the SKH Joint-school Gospel Camp, which brought together students from 10 SKH secondary schools. The three-day camp featured worship, Bible messages, small-group sharing, team-building activities and fellowship. Through living, learning and serving alongside students from different schools, participants broadened their horizons, built new friendships and experienced the unity of the Christian community. The camp encouraged them to deepen their faith, support one another, and continue their spiritual journey with confidence and hope.
An Evening of Faith, Fellowship and Joy: BHJS Gospel Evening Camp
On 3 July, BHJS organised its own Gospel Evening Camp, offering 30 students a meaningful opportunity to experience the highlights of camp life in a one-day programme. From 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., students took part in worship, team-building games, Bible messages, small-group sharing and a variety of interactive activities. Although shorter in duration, the camp provided a joyful and enriching experience that encouraged students to grow in faith, strengthen friendships, and encounter God’s love in a caring Christian community.

We are thrilled to announce that our student, 1A Wong Hei Yee, has achieved remarkable success at the "Harmony of Innovation" A.I. Song Creation Competition, organised by the Hong Kong Association for Computer Education (HKACE) to celebrate its 45th Anniversary.
The competition invited secondary school students from across Hong Kong to harness the power of A.I. tools to compose original music. Participants were tasked with mastering A.I. prompt engineering to create songs that integrated themes of technology, education innovation, and the HKACE’s 45 years of dedication to the computer education community.
