【收生資訊🏫💡】嘉誠巡禮2024
為讓小學六年級同學及家長加深對本校的辦學理念、課程特色、校園生活及自行分配學位收生安排，本校將會於12月7日上午舉行「嘉誠巡禮2024」，透過學校簡介會、體驗課堂、攤位遊戲等讓學生和家長對李嘉誠中學有更進一步的認識。

活動已於11月末截止報名，感謝各位家長和同學的支持！

【學生成就🏆】新界傑出學生選舉2024
4E 莫子賢及4A李熙怡於新界青年聯會舉辦的「新界傑出學生選舉2024」分別獲得了新界十大傑出學生及新界優秀學生。兩位同學獲選為北區優秀學生，再晉身新界區傑出學生選舉，經過不同面試及比賽，最終從超過1500名新界學生中脫穎而出。

【Students‘ Achievement🏆】The Outstanding Student Election of New Territories 2024
Congratulation to 4E Mok Tsz Yin and 4A Lee Hei Yi who were awarded the titles of Top 10 Outstanding Student of New Territories and Outstanding Student of New Territories, respectively, in the Outstanding Student Election of New Territories 2024 organised by the Federation of New Territories Youth. Both students stood out in the North District Outstanding Student Election and advanced to the Outstanding Student Election of New Territories 2024. After undergoing various interviews and competitions, they ultimately achieved remarkable results among over 1,500 students from the New Territories.

【學生成就🏆・STEAM足跡💡】社會創新發明 –「地」盡其用 – 概念空間設計大賽2023/24
「社會創新發明概念空間設計大賽2023/24」鼓勵青少年做出綠色、創新和適用的設計，以優化未來城市規劃及環境保育發展，倡導環保、綠色建築、節能減廢的理念，並將環保因素納入設計要求啟發青少年關注碳排放帶來的環境問題和氣候變化的影響，並透過生活方式和設計，為環境保護做出貢獻，講授關於能源效益，節能減碳，綠色科技的知識及設施應用，從而增加綠色建築設計的可行性，通過激發青少年對環境的熱情，培養環境領袖，在未來向社區倡導綠色理念。

本校中四級（2023-24年度）羅諾同學以及張泳桐同學以參賽作品「塑葉園 Plastic Leaf」奪得中學組亞軍，恭喜兩位獲獎同學！

【Students‘ Achievement🏆・Exploring STEAM💡】Social Inventor Innovation Competition 2023/24

Congratulations to 4A Luo Nuo (23-24) and 4B Cheung Wing Tung(23-24), who were awarded the 1st runner up by their design, ”Plastic Leaf“ in Social Inventor Innovation Competition 2023/24.

Social Inventor Innovation Competition 2023/24 encourages young people to create green, innovative, and practical designs to enhance future urban planning and environmental conservation efforts. The competition aims to promote environmental protection, green buildings, energy conservation, and waste reduction. It also seeks to integrate environmental considerations into design requirements, inspiring young individuals to address environmental challenges arising from carbon emissions and climate change impacts. By fostering awareness and action towards environmental issues through lifestyle choices and design solutions, the competition educates participants on energy efficiency, conservation, carbon reduction, green technology, and sustainable practices. Ultimately, it aims to enhance the viability of green building design, ignite young people‘s passion for environmental causes, nurture environmental leadership, and promote green principles within the community.

【學生成就🏆・STEAM足跡💡】理大做好設計獎2024
「理大做好設計獎」由香港理工大學設計學院主辦，是一個為香港中學生設計培育及獎勵計劃。 無論是熱愛STEAM、經濟、藝術或是設計，來自不同學術背景的香港中學生皆可參加比賽，是次計劃讓志同道合的同學互相合作，盡情發揮創意，在學習成長並踏上精彩的設計之路。

本校設計及科技學會成員中四級（2023-2024年度）譚梓彤、劉軒宇，以及中五級（2023-2024年度）鄭依菲經過重重遴選，成功入圍決賽，最終以「特殊殘障兒童遊樂場」的設計勝出比賽，分別獲得「社區、空間與服務設計冠軍」、「全場最優秀設計大獎」，恭喜得獎同學！。

【Students‘ Achievement🏆・Exploring STEAM💡】PolyU Design Hatch Awards 2024
PolyU Design Hatch Awards 2024 is an Unique Design Incubation Programme for Hong Kong‘s Secondary School Students.

4A Tam Tsz Tung (23-24), 4A Liu Xuan Yu (23-24) and 5C Zheng Yee Fei (23-24) from Design and Technology society participated in a design competition called Design Hatch award, from School of Design in Hong Kong Polytechnic university. The teams definitely dedicated their focus and engagement in their design development. Their topic, Playground for special disable kids, won the competitions and got the winner of ”Community, Space and Service Design“ and ”The Best of the Best Award“ from the professional judges.

【STEAM足跡💡】香港學生科學比賽
香港學生科學比賽2024由香港青年協會、教育局、香港科學館聯合舉辦，並得到創新科技署、香港科學院青年學者、香港數碼港管理有限公司、香港設計學院和香港專業教育學院（李惠利）、香港青年協會賽馬會媒體21的支持。

今年的主題是「源自生活的靈感‧科學的創新-副題：可持續發展」。本校派出5名中四級學生（2023-24年度）參考啟德區冷卻系統，重現並修改了一座建築模型中的冷卻系統，並多次使用水。

【Exploring STEAM💡】Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition
The Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition (HKSSPC) 2024 is jointly organised by The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, the Education Bureau, the Hong Kong Science Museum, and supported by the Innovation and Technology Commission, the Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences, Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, Hong Kong Design Institute and Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Lee Wai Lee), HKFYG Jockey Club Media 21.

This year‘s topic is ”Inspiration from Living ‧ Innovation from Science-Sub topic: Sustainable development“. Our school students refer to District Cooling system in Kai Tak, reproduced and modified the cooling system in a model building with multiple usage of water.

【交流回顧✈️】東華三院一帶一路新疆參訪團2024
4C郭小睿同學以及4E莫子賢同學代表本校參與由東華三院主辦的「慶祝中華人民共和國成立75週年東華三院一帶一路新疆參訪團」。此次參訪團，展開為期八日七夜的新疆遊學之旅，讓學生可以更深入地瞭解中國各地的文化及歷史背景，並與少數民族作交流。

同學們除了有機會親身到訪多個新疆的著名景點及博物館，認識到新疆當地的歷史文化，更有機會到訪新疆大學以及喀什第二十八中學進行交流以及互動，增進了同學對新疆文化背景及人文風俗的瞭解。

【Exchange Tour Recap✈️】TWGHs Xinjiang Exchange Tour
4C Kwok Siu Yui and 4E Mok Tsz Yin represented our school in the ”Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Belt and Road Xinjiang Visiting Tour“ organized by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals from September 18th to 25th, 2024. During the tour, students had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the culture and historical background of various regions in China through exchanges with ethnic minorities.

In addition to visiting famous landmarks and museums in Xinjiang, they interacted with students at Xinjiang University and Kashgar No. 28 Middle School, enriching their knowledge of Xinjiang‘s cultural heritage and traditions.

【學生成就🏆】第21屆「十本好讀」頒奬典禮
香港教育城舉辦「十本好讀」選舉，讓學界選出心愛的書籍和作家。今年是第21屆，宣揚「愛閱讀‧樂分享」的文化，嘉許優秀的作家及出版社。

第21屆「十本好讀」於2024年7月22日在香港會議展覽中心舉行頒獎典禮，由香港特別行政區政府教育局局長蔡若蓮博士，JP 擔任主禮嘉賓。本校獲得「積極參與學校獎 (中學組)」，由三位圖書館管理員代表領獎。

【Students‘ Achievement🏆】The 21st ”Top 10 Book Picks“ Award Presentation Ceremony
The ’Top Ten Book Picks‘ election organized by Hong Kong Education City aims to encourage teachers and students to choose their favorite books and authors. This year marks the 21st year of the event, promoting the culture of ’Love Reading, Enjoy Sharing,‘ and recognizing outstanding authors and publishers.

The 21st ’Top 10 Book Picks‘ award presentation ceremony took place on July 22, 2024, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with Dr. Choi Yuk-lin, JP, Secretary for Education of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, as the guest of honor. Our school was delighted to receive the ’Active Participating School Award (Secondary School Group).‘ Three student librarians proudly represented our school and accepted the award on our behalf.

【交流回顧✈️】東華三院中學聯校合唱團 - 日本聲樂音樂節2024📍日本橫濱
董事局主席鄧明慧女士及行政總監蘇祐安先生率領東華三院甲寅年總理中學、李嘉誠中學、吳祥川紀念中學組成的聯校合唱團連師生56人於8月到訪日本橫濱進行五天的文化交流活動。行程包括參與日本聲樂音樂節演出、與當地合唱團交流及觀賞音樂會等。期間鄧明慧主席更與同學一起參與音樂節的各項演出。

【Exchange Tour Recap✈️】TWGHs Joint Secondary Schools Choir - Japan Vocal Music Festival 2024
Led by Ms. Mandy Tang, the Chairman and Mr. Albert SU, the Chief Executive, the TWGHs Joint Secondary Schools Choir (formed by students from Kap Yan Directors’ College, Li Ka Shing College and S.C. Gaw Memorial College) took part in the Japan Vocal Music Festival held in Yokohama, Japan in August. The group performed, attended concerts and exchanged with local choirs. Ms. Mandy Tang, the Chairman also jointly performed with students in various programme of the festival.

北區優秀學生選舉旨於推動中學生培養社會責任感，裝備他們貢獻社區，造福社群；鼓勵中學生發揮領導能力，使他們提升自信，進而肯定自我。

Congratulations to 3B Li Hei Yi (23-24) and 3D Mok Tsz Yin(23-24), who were awarded Merit Award in Junior Section in the North District Outstanding Student Election 2023-2024 .

The North District Outstanding Students Election aims to promote the cultivation of social responsibility among high school students, equip them to contribute to the community, and benefit society; encourage high school students to demonstrate leadership abilities, helping them boost their self-confidence and affirm themselves.
