I’m a natural bodybuilder. And the gym is still just part of my life, not my entire personality.
I’ve seen it happen to others and to myself. When fitness becomes your whole identity, everything else can feel like a distraction. But for me, it’s the opposite.
The gym is one pillar. Not the whole building.
It makes me better at everything else motherhood, my marriage, my business, my friendships. It sharpens my focus. It builds my resilience. It gives me energy to show up fully.
But it doesn’t define me.
I’m not just an athlete. I’m a mother. A wife. A coach. A friend. A woman with dreams, fears and a full, messy, beautiful life.
Balance isn’t about equal time. It’s about knowing what matters most in each season. Some weeks, training takes more. Others, it takes less. And that’s okay.
The gym is a tool. The goal isn’t the gym. The goal is a full, vibrant life.
Tell me, what’s one part of your life that supports the rest?🌸
