💛【舉手之勞，卻是老人家的大幫助】💛
近日，RAA 義工隊接獲一位接近 80 歲獨居長者的求助，希望有人可以協助將家中一部已經壞了的洗衣機搬走。
對於年輕人而言，搬走一部洗衣機可能只是舉手之勞；但對於一位體力有限的獨居長者來說，卻是一件既困難又令人擔憂的事情。
收到查詢後，RAA 義工隊立即採取行動，安排義工到場協助。整個過程非常順利，看到長者終於放下心頭大石，我們亦感到十分欣慰。
很多時候，一個微小的行動，已經足以為別人的生活帶來很大的改變。能夠為有需要的人分擔一點點，就是我們一直堅持服務社區的原因。
感恩今次任務順利完成，希望長者可以少一份憂慮，多一份安心。

💛 A Small Act of Kindness Can Make a Big Difference 💛
Recently, the RAA Volunteer Team received a request from an elderly resident, nearly 80 years old, who lives alone. She hoped someone could help remove a broken washing machine from her home, as her age and limited physical strength made it impossible for her to do so.
As soon as we received her request, our volunteers took immediate action.
To many of us, moving a washing machine may seem like a simple task. But for an elderly person living alone, it can be a heavy burden and a constant source of worry.
We are grateful that everything went smoothly, and most importantly, that we were able to ease one of her concerns.
Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness can have the greatest impact on someone’s life. Being there for those in need is what community is all about.
The RAA Volunteer Team will continue to serve with compassion, helping one person, one family, and one community at a time.
