📌 3月18日，我哋東華學院護理學院嘅兩位同學 何堃萊 同 林家萬，聯同高級臨床講師 衛麗欣女士 ，一齊出席咗「仁毅醫學教育交流獎勵計劃」嘅行前簡介會，為即將展開嘅12日上海交流學習做好準備🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

🛫及後5月11至22日，兩位同學走訪咗上海交通大學附屬第六人民醫院，親身體驗內地醫療科技同護理實踐。佢哋除咗參觀造口及傷口護理診所同手術室之外，仲喺內視鏡中心親手操作腹腔鏡模擬訓練器，學習內視鏡檢查過程同病人護理👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️同學們仲見識到中西醫結合嘅發展，親身體驗咗把脈診斷，並觀察中醫臨床流程，深深感受到中醫護理同現代醫療嘅融合。🏥

👏 呢次交流唔單止提升咗同學們嘅專業能力，更促進咗跨地域嘅醫護教育合作，等同學喺臨床同文化層面都獲得極之寶貴嘅經驗🪄🎉

【✨ Project Empadurance Medical Education Exchange Scholarship 2026 – Shanghai Study Tour ✈️– A Fruitful Experience 🍎】

📌 On 18 March 2026, two nursing students from Tung Wah College, HO Kwan Loi and LAM Ka Mang, together with Senior Clinical Associate Ms. Stephanie Wai, attended the pre-departure briefing for the Project Empadurance Medical Education Exchange Scholarship. This prepared them for the upcoming 12-day study tour in Shanghai. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

🛫11–22 May 2026, the students visited the Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital, where they experienced cutting-edge healthcare technology and nursing practice. They visited the Wound and Stoma Nurse Clinic and the Operating Theatre. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️They even gained hands-on experience handling a laparoscopic simulated endoscope at the Endoscopy Centre, learning about endoscopic procedures and patient care. 🏥Additionally, they also explored the integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern healthcare, experiencing pulse diagnosis and observing clinical workflows that combine Traditional Chinese Medicine with contemporary nursing.

👏 This exchange not only enhanced the students’ professional competence but also promoted cross-regional collaboration in nursing education, giving them valuable experience in both clinical practice and cultural immersion.🪄🎉

【Hong Kong International Nurses Day Celebration Dinner 🌟🩺】

On 23 May, our Dean, Professor Lorna Suen, and Associate Dean, Dr. Anson Tang, along with a group of teachers and students, proudly represented the TWC School of Nursing at the Hong Kong International Nurses Day Celebration Dinner 🥂 Jointly organized by the Hong Kong Academy of Nursing and Midwifery, the Hospital Authority New Territories East Cluster, and St. Teresa's Hospital 🏥, the event provided an excellent platform for industry peers to connect and share insights 🗣️ inspiring us to continue upholding our professional nursing spirit in our respective roles across clinical practice, teaching, and research 💪

The theme for this year's International Nurses Day is "Empower Nurses, Save Lives" 💡 It advocates for providing nurses with safe and fair work environments, alongside the comprehensive enhancement of nurses' roles in professional practice, influence, and leadership 🚀 This empowers the nursing workforce to better address the growing healthcare demands, save lives, and tackle the challenges of improving community well-being 🌍
