【✨ 東華學院 × 敏惠醫護管理專科學校交流之旅 ✨】

喺 2026年8月1至8日，有7位護理學生同 1位護理學院講師前往台南嘅敏惠醫護管理專科學校進行交流。學生到訪咗唔同等級嘅醫院同社區醫療設施，擴闊咗對急症護理同社區護理嘅視野👀透過同當地醫護人員、敏惠師生嘅互動，佢哋更深入了解咗香港同台灣護理教育制度同職業發展嘅不同之處🏆

之後喺 8月11至13日，敏惠亦安排咗12位學生同4位老師回訪東華學院，參觀咗我哋東華學院嘅中西醫護及復康中心 (IHC) 同 KPC校園，並到訪本地醫院同社區醫療設施🤝呢次寶貴嘅交流，令兩校學生互相學習、共同成長，亦大大提升咗佢哋嘅全球健康視野🌎 喺將來照顧病人嘅時候，同時要考量病人嘅文化背景同需要👏👏 🧭呢個互訪交流唔單止加深咗同學們嘅專業知識，仲培養咗跨文化理解同個人成長，真係獲益良多👣👣👣

【✨ Tung Wah College × Min-Hwei Junior College of Health Care Management (MH) Reciprocal Exchange Tour ✨】

From August 1-8, 2026, a group of seven nursing students led by one nursing teacher joined an exchange tour at Min-Hwei Junior College of Health Care Management (MH) in Tainan🌎Students visited hospitals at different levels and community health care facilities, which broadened their perspectives on both acute care and community care practices🤲 Through meaningful interactions with healthcare professionals, MH students, and teachers, they gained deeper insights into the differences in nursing education systems and career pathways between Hong Kong and Taiwan🏆

From August 11-13, 2026, MH reciprocated with a visit to Tung Wah College. A group of twelve MH students and four MH teachers visited our Integrative Health Center (IHC) and KPC campus, while also visiting local hospitals and community health facilities🤝This precious experience enabled students from both institutions to learn from each other, foster cultural sensitivity, and strengthen global health competence👏👏 🧭

This reciprocal exchange not only enriched professional knowledge but also nurtured personal growth and cross-cultural understanding, laying a strong foundation for future collaboration👣👣👣

【✨ 廣州中醫藥大學✨中醫護理夏令營 2026 ✨】
6月28日至7月4日，我哋嘅護理系學生參加咗由廣州中醫藥大學舉辦的「中醫護理夏令營」。學生們喺呢次嘅交流深入體驗咗中醫護理嘅知識與技術，真喺一段充滿收穫嘅旅程。🌏💫
佢哋親身學習了八段錦、耳穴療法、拔罐、艾灸、刮痧同埋推拿等等嘅傳統中醫療法。同時，學生們透過製作傳統綠豆糕，體驗咗中醫飲食護理，並喺藥材藝術工作坊中以菊花、薰衣草、肉桂及米豆等藥材創作獨特的藝術作品。🌸
除咗課堂學習，佢哋仲參觀咗廣州中醫藥大學附屬醫院、老人公寓，以及著名文化地標如廣州塔與廣州藝術博物館。🏙️🎨
今次夏令營不僅提供咗深入嘅中醫護理培訓，更加喺一場開拓視野嘅文化交流，留下難忘嘅美好回憶。🌿✨

【✨Chinese Medicine Nursing Summer Camp 2026✨Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine✨】
From June 28 to July 4, our nursing students took part in the Chinese Medicine Nursing Summer Camp hosted by Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. It was a truly enriching journey as they immersed themselves in the world of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Nursing. 🌏💫
Students practiced TCM therapies such as Baduanjin, auricular point therapy, cupping therapy, moxibustion, Guasha, and massage therapy. They also explored TCM dietary care by making traditional mung bean cakes and demonstrated creativity in a Herbal Art Workshop, crafting unique handicrafts using herbs such as daisy, lavender, cinnamon, and rice bean. 🌸
Beyond the classroom learning, participants visited the Guangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a senior care home, and iconic cultural landmarks, including Canton Tower and the Guangzhou Museum of Art. 🏙️🎨
This summer camp was not only a hands-on training in TCM nursing, but also a cultural exchange that broadened horizons and created unforgettable memories. 🌿✨

🎓 Certificate Course in Renal Nursing

🎯 Target Participants:
Registered Nurses (RN) and Enrolled Nurses (EN) working in renal or related clinical settings

📌 Entry Requirements:
a. RN with a valid Practising Certificate and at least 3 years of post-registration experience in renal or related clinical settings; or
b. EN with a valid Practising Certificate and at least 5 years of post-enrolment experience in renal or related clinical settings

From June 28 to July 4, 2026, our nursing students participated in the 4th Summer Exchange Program at Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau under the theme “Understanding Heat and Health in the AI Era through TCM.” This enriching experience allowed students to explore nurses’ evolving roles in climate change, AI applications, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, while engaging with local community healthcare and visiting Tong Sin Tong, one of Macau’s most historic charitable institutions. With student representatives from different healthcare programmes worldwide sharing their learning journeys and healthcare systems, the program offered a valuable platform for international exchange and broadened horizons by highlighting the innovative integration of AI and TCM in modern healthcare.🧑‍🔬👩🏻‍💻🥼

【創世界紀錄🏆中西醫護及復康中心參與千人中醫義診盛事】
2026年5月10日，高級講師王維茵博士獲邀代表我哋中西醫護及復康中心，出席喺亞洲國際博覽館舉行嘅「杏林暖香江·千名中醫義診創世界紀錄」大型慈善義診活動。成功挑戰健力士世界紀錄 🏆今次義診由香港廣西社團總會同九龍中醫師公會主辦，集合咗 992位註冊中醫，為 992名市民提供傳統中醫診療服務🌿。健力士世界紀錄官員喺現場核實後，正式確認「最多中醫師同時為市民進行傳統中醫診療」嘅世界紀錄🎉。
活動仲吸引咗超過 500萬人線上觀看，充分展現中醫界團結互相支持🤝同無私奉獻嘅精神。

【Breaking World Records 🏆 Integrative Health Centre joined Thousand‑Person TCM Charity Consultation Event】
On 10 May 2026, Senior Lecturer Dr Margaret Wong from the Integrative Health Centre joined the volunteer event “Healing the Fragrant Harbor: 1,000 TCM Practitioners Free Clinic World Record🏆 “at Asia World-Expo, organized by the Federation of HK Guangxi Community Organisations and the Kowloon Chinese Herbalists Association. A total of 992 Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners (RCMPs) provided consultations to 992 clients🌿. Guinness World Records officials attended and verified the achievement on-site. Organizers officially set the Guinness World Record for the "Most people performing traditional Chinese medicine consultations simultaneously".🎉. The live broadcast drew over 5 million views across Mainland China and the Hong Kong SAR, highlighting the profession’s commitment to collaboration and community service🤝.

2026年5月30日, 我地護理學院協理副校長(學術)及副院長(課程)關耀祖教授獲香港老年學護理專科學院邀請,出席喺逸東酒店舉行既「香港老年學護理專科學院2026 週年大會暨學術研討會」擔任主題演講嘉賓。研討會以「領航長者護理未來：融合科技與人文」為題，探討如何利用科技提升護理效能，同時保持人性化的溫暖，為未來的社區護理提供寶貴啟示。
研討會中, 我地護理學院副院長(實習教育)及副教授鄧翠欣博士亦發表研究成果，並獲得「最佳海報發表獎」🏆👏

【TWC Nursing Scholars Lead New Milestones in Gerontological Nursing ✨】
On 30 May 2026, Professor Rick Kwan, Associate Vice President (Academic) cm Associate Dean (Programmes) of the School of Nursing at Tung Wah College, was invited to serve as a keynote speaker at the Hong Kong College of Gerontology Nursing 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting cm AGM. The conference, themed “Leading the Future of Elderly Care: Integrating Technology and Humanity,” explored how technological innovations can enhance nursing efficiency while preserving compassionate, person-centered care, offering valuable insights for the future of community nursing.
Our Associate Dean (Clinical Education) and Associate Professor, Dr Anson Tang, also presented her research findings at the symposium and received the Best Poster Presentation Award. 🏆👏

【Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing – First Research Seminar 🎓✨】
On May 7, 2026, the first research seminar of the Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing was held at Tung Wah College’s King’s Park Campus. The seminar featured a session by Professor Sally Chan, President of Tung Wah College, who shared insights on “Generating Noble Research Questions and Creating Research Impact.” She clearly explained what constitutes a “noble” research topic—one that demonstrates both social significance🌍 and innovation💡. She also highlighted the importance of focusing on forward-looking areas such as AI-based psychological interventions and tele-medicine🩺 to address societal burdens and enhance public health and well-being. ❤️
In addition, Professor Lorna Suen, Dean of the School of Nursing, delivered a talk titled “From Curiosity to Contribution: My Path in Establishing a Research Niche,” sharing how initial academic curiosity 🔍can be gradually transformed into impactful research expertise. 📚
