To celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, our girls proudly joined the national flag-raising ceremony yesterday. 🇨🇳
Together, we sang the national anthem with honour and unity.
Our principal, Ms Lo, also shared inspiring moments from her recent trip to Beijing and Inner Mongolia, reminding us of the beauty and diversity of our country.
Let’s continue to ‘Love our Country, Love Hong Kong, Love our Community’, and show our CARE to our nation every day

In Marymount, we inspire our students to **express, connect and serve through music**.

For our very first international festival experience, we wanted to share with the world what singing means to us: **“Why We Sing – Music’s True Joy.”** 🎶

Through our competition programme, we praised God through song, celebrated the beauty and rhythm of music, and found inspiration that uplifted our spirits. Singing together also reminded us that music is a universal language—one that helps us listen, connect and build friendships across cultures.

Our choristers sang in German, English and Mandarin, offering a musical greeting to new audiences and fellow young musicians from around the world. Each piece reflected our faith, our love for choral singing and the spirit of Marymount: to share our gifts wholeheartedly and bring joy to others through music. 💛

Milestone - Passion - Sharing

From 16 to 24 July 2026, the MPS Senior Choir embarked on a memorable musical journey through Austria—Mürzzuschlag & Vienna and Bratislava, taking part in the International Youth Music Festival II 2026 in the Children’s Choir Category.

This was a special milestone for Marymount Primary School—our very first overseas international choir festival. In our centenary year, our choristers proudly represented the school on an international stage.

We are thrilled to share that the choir received a Gold Award with an outstanding score of 93 marks! 🏆💛

Beyond the competition, the tour gave our students opportunities to share their passion for music, learn through masterclasses and performances, experience new cultures, make friends from different parts of the World, and grow in confidence, friendship and independence.

We are immensely proud of every chorister. The journey required great effort, dedication and perseverance. Through every song and performance, they shared not only our music, but also their love and passion for singing and the spirit of Marymount with audiences near and far. 💛
