Another great morning of sport for Glenealy School. This time, it was the biathletes' turn to represent us at the HKPSSA championships at KGV. Well done, biathletes, you did an amazing job. We're all super proud of you 🏊♀️🏃♂️

🎮 ESF e-sports tournament! Our team had a strong showing in the group stage - **1 win, 1 loss** - and finished tied with Peak School. Unfortunately, Peak advanced to the semifinals based on total points, but we’re proud of how we played. Great work, team!** 💪

The playground was transformed into an arena of wonder, courtesy of the incredible HK Circus Experience funded and organised by our amazing PTA. This was an absolute inspiration to us all. Having the opportunity to see professional performers up close not only brought pure joy to the children's faces but also gave them a firsthand look at the dedication, balance, and resilience required to master such unique skills. We extend a huge thank you to the PTA for making this event possible.

Today we held our House Talent Finals during the Friday assembly, with every House proudly represented on stage. From singers and dancers to musicians and makers, our students brought creativity, courage, and joy to the spotlight. A huge well done to all our finalists and to everyone who auditioned. Glenealy definitely has talent. Our judges now have the very tough job of choosing a winner, which will be revealed at the next assembly.
This stop-motion video was made by Albert, Sun, and Carlton. We used printed out props on Canva and combined different Canva graphics to make the humans. We put all our Yearly assembly quotes into the stop-motion, and we had fun making it and voice-acting the characters. We made this video for the children who are going come to Glenealy School or children who might come to Glenealy School. This video was made to teach the children some of the values in our school. It was an amazing opportunity to show Mr Coyle our stop-motion - we will always remember this moment!

🔨 It was an industrious break time for children working in our Outdoor Classroom. They skillfully build a frame using hammers and nails for hanging the herbs we grew in our hydroponics unit 🌱

This week, Year 5 had a very special visitor, Paul McCracken, Creative Arts Director from Island School, joined us as part of our How We Express Ourselves unit, exploring the elements of performance and the craft of scripting with our students. A wonderful example of the rich learning that happens when we work with our associated schools.

Congratulations to the Glenealy Cricket teams. The boys team finished 3rd in the Hong Kong Schools Cup.
The mixed team finished 4th in Mixed tournament.
Both teams simultaneously showed off their cricket skills and fantastic sportsmanship. Way to go Glenealy cricketers 🏏
