The Joy of Learning English Vocabulary 🐝

Our school makes good use of the post-exam period by organising a wide range of engaging and enjoyable learning activities for students. The English team recently held an “English Day – Spelling Bee Inter-Class Competition”, allowing students to revise and strengthen their knowledge of English vocabulary.

Through activities such as rapid-fire questions and collaborative problem-solving, students worked enthusiastically together to compete for the championship.

We are delighted to announce that Classes 2B, 4B, and 6A emerged as champions in their respective categories. Congratulations to all the award-winning students!

The annual TYTAPS General Studies Quiz was successfully held recently! Students from all year groups actively participated in the thrilling rounds of questions, demonstrating a solid foundation in the subject and sharp thinking skills — a brilliant showcase of their year-long learning journey! 📚✨👏

📖 Review and Reinforce: Consolidating the Year's Learning 📖

This competition was not only a test of knowledge but also a comprehensive review of the year's General Studies curriculum. In preparing for the contest, students revisited what they had learnt, connected different areas of knowledge, and truly embodied the philosophy that reviewing past lessons brings fresh insights! 💡📚✅

🏺🤖 本校早前舉辦了「考古技術 STEM 體驗日」，讓同學們體驗了一場結合歷史與現代科技的探索之旅。✨

👨‍🏫 在老師的帶領下，學生先學習考古文物的基本知識，了解歷史遺蹟的珍貴價值，並深入探究現代工程中不可或缺的升降設施原理⚙️。其後，同學們學以致用，使用機器人套件進行動手實踐🧱。在拼砌過程中，大家發揮創意與空間思維，成功構建出精密的「考古升降臺」和「文物運輸車」🚚。

🏁 最後，學生更挑戰難度，學習編寫程式以進行「巡線行走」比賽。比賽現場氣氛非常熱烈🔥，同學們互相加油打氣，看著自己親手設計並編程的運輸車精準地沿線行走、完成任務，大家都顯得雀躍萬分，很是開心！🤩🎉

🏺🤖 Our school recently held the "Archaeological Technology STEM Experience Day", allowing students to embark on a journey of exploration that beautifully combined history and modern technology. ✨

👨‍🏫 Led by our teachers, students first learned the foundational knowledge of archaeological artefacts and understood the precious value of historical sites. They also delved into the principles of lifting mechanisms⚙️, which are indispensable in modern engineering. Afterwards, students put their newly acquired knowledge into practice by using robotics kits for hands-on building🧱. During the building process, everyone unleashed their creativity and spatial thinking, successfully constructing precise "archaeological lifting platforms" and "artefact transport vehicles"🚚.

🏁 Finally, students took on an even greater challenge by learning how to code for the "Line-Following" competition. The atmosphere at the competition was electric🔥, with students cheering each other on. Seeing the transport vehicles they designed and programmed themselves follow the lines precisely and complete the mission, everyone was absolutely thrilled and full of joy! 🤩🎉

💡 This activity not only enhanced students' understanding of archaeological artefacts and mechanical engineering, broadening their technological horizons🚀, but also fostered their logical thinking and teamwork spirit through building and competing together🤝. 【 TYTAPS Good News: Further Recognition in Inclusive Education through e-Learning】 💻❤️

Mr Wong Ka Ho has been awarded the Merit Award at the 2025-2026 Inclusive e-Learning Award for his outstanding practice in promoting inclusive education through the use of digital technology! 🏆✨

The core concept of inclusive education is to respect the unique learning needs of every student, enabling learners of different abilities to learn and grow together in an inclusive environment.

In his teaching practice, Mr Wong skilfully utilises a variety of digital tools. He employs interactive learning platforms to design personalised exercises for students with different learning paces, and uses AI-assisted teaching tools to analyse students' learning difficulties in real time, providing targeted support. 🤖📱Mr Wong's practice proves that digital technology can not only break down learning barriers but also turn the ideal of tailoring education to individual needs from a slogan into reality. This award is a true testament to his dedication to promoting inclusive education! 🌟🙌

本校獲葵青警民關係組邀請參觀有線電視大廈✨。
在荃灣及葵青區的警長帶領下，我們一起進入電視大樓。先由有線的工作人員介紹新聞製作流程，讓孩子們了解新聞如何由採訪到播出🎥。學生們好奇地觀看攝影棚及控制室🔭，對專業的器材和繁忙的工作環境感到新鮮和新奇。其後，他們更有機會模擬主播，坐在鏡頭前讀稿，體驗電視新聞的緊張感。整個過程中，工作人員均耐心解答學生們的疑問🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻，並希望他們能體驗到新聞工作者的努力💯。參觀結束後，孩子們均表示收穫豐富。這次活動不僅增進了學生們對媒體的認識和擴闊視野，也令他們認識到警察除撲滅罪行外，還讓他們有機會走進社區，在此衷心謝謝周警長，陳警長🙏及各位警務人員的安排和當天的細心照顧❤️❤️。

Our school was delighted to be invited by the Kwai Tsing Police Community Relations Office to visit the Cable TV Tower✨.

Led by police sergeants from the Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing Districts, we entered the television building together. First, the staff at Cable TV introduced the news production workflow, allowing the children to understand how a news story goes from reporting to broadcasting🎥. The students curiously explored the studio and control room🔭, fascinated by the professional equipment and the bustling work environment. Afterwards, they even had the chance to try their hand at being news anchors, sitting in front of the camera to read scripts and experiencing the exciting thrill of a live television broadcast. Throughout the visit, the staff patiently answered the students' questions🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻, hoping to give them a real sense of the hard work and dedication of news professionals💯.

By the end of the tour, the children all expressed that they had gained a wealth of knowledge. This activity not only enhanced the students' understanding of the media and broadened their horizons, but also helped them realise that in addition to fighting crime, the police also actively engage with and support the community. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Sergeant Chow, Sergeant Chan🙏, and all the police officers for organising this wonderful event and for their thoughtful care throughout the day❤️❤️.

🌿【放鬆心靈・與動物同行：4Rs 精神健康同樂日】🐼

為了積極響應「4Rs 精神健康約章」 📜，我校早前參加了香港海洋公園「動物探索」精神健康同樂日 🐬。 同學們首先參與了由海洋公園負責人主持的教育工作坊 。透過生動的講解與趣味互動 ，同學深入認識了不同動物的習性 ，激發了對自然生態的關注與愛護 ❤️。 隨後，在老師的帶領下 ，同學們展開了長達近三小時的園區探索活動 。大家結伴漫步於綠意盎然的環境中 🌳，近距離觀察珍貴的動物 ，沉浸在大自然的療癒力量之中 。

實踐 4Rs 精神健康四大核心元素 ✨

1️⃣ 休息 (Rest) ── 紓緩學習壓力 🛁
這次活動讓大家暫時放下課本 📖，走出課室 🚪，在輕鬆愉快的遊園氣氛中徹底放鬆身心 🍃。

2️⃣ 放鬆 (Relaxation) ── 大自然的心靈療癒 🌳
透過與動物的親密接觸 🐼、觀察自然生態 🌿，同學們呼吸著戶外的新鮮空氣 💨，有效地減低焦慮與壓力 📉，為心靈補充滿滿的「正能量」🔋。

3️⃣ 人際關係 (Relationships) ── 增進師生與同窗情誼 🤝
30 位來自不同班別的同學與隨行老師結伴同行 👥。在互相照顧 👋、共同探索的過程中 🧭，大家建立了更深厚的友誼 💗。

4️⃣ 抗逆力 (Resilience) ── 正向獎勵激發內在動力 💪
這次活動是對同學們辛勤付出的肯定與肯定獎勵 🏆。

🌿【Relaxing the Mind • Walking with Animals: 4Rs Mental Health Fun Day】🐼

To actively respond to the "4Rs Mental Health Charter" 📜, our school recently participated in the Hong Kong Ocean Park "Animal Discovery" Mental Health Fun Day 🐬🎉. Students first took part in an educational workshop hosted by the Ocean Park education team 📑. Through lively explanations and fun interactions 💬, they gained a deeper understanding of different animal habits 🦁, which sparked their care and concern for the natural ecosystem ❤️.

🎒 Afterward, led by our teachers 👣, the students embarked on a nearly three-hour park exploration activity 🗺️. Walking together through the lush, green environment 🌳, they observed precious animals up close 🦒 and immersed themselves in the healing power of nature 🫧.✨ Putting the Four Core Elements of 4Rs Mental Health into Practice ✨This Fun Day was not only a rich outdoor experience 🎒 but also a practical journey to implement the Mental Health Charter 🌈.

The activity fully addressed the following four elements:

1️⃣ Rest ── Relieving Learning Stress 🛁 This activity allowed everyone to temporarily set down their textbooks 📖, step out of the classroom 🚪, and completely relax their minds and bodies in a lighthearted and pleasant park atmosphere 🍃, achieving true mental rest 💆‍♂️.

2️⃣ Relaxation ── Mindful Healing from Nature 🌳 Through close contact with animals 🐼 and observing the natural ecosystem 🌿, students breathed in the fresh outdoor air 💨, effectively reducing anxiety and stress 📉, and recharging their souls with positive energy 🔋.

3️⃣ Relationships ── Enhancing Teacher-Student and Peer Friendships 🤝 30 students from various classes and their accompanying teachers journeyed together 👥. In the process of looking after one another 👋 and exploring together 🧭, everyone built deeper friendships 💗.

4️⃣ Resilience ── Positive Rewards Inspiring Internal Motivation 💪

This activity served as a recognition and reward for the students' hard work and diligence 🏆. TYTAPS will continue to work hand in hand with parents 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 to build a caring, healthy, and wellness-focused environment for our children to thrive 🏡!

青商籃球隊在比賽中奪得U14 D3 組季軍 🏆

本校一向秉持因材施教的方針，積極鼓勵學生追求卓越、挑戰自我，致力啟發學生的多元潛能。在剛圓滿落幕的「2026 AXA x ASA 青少年籃球精英邀請賽」中，本校籃球隊與各界青少年籃球健兒同場競技，展開了多場激烈的對決。為迎戰此次賽事，隊員們於過去數月的每個週末皆進行高強度訓練；在此期間，指導老師全程伴隨，給予戰術指導與心理支持，成為球隊最堅實的後盾。

賽場上，每一位隊員不但展現了純熟的個人技術，更呈現出高度的團隊默契與互信，在逆境中互勉同行，最終榮獲 U14 D3 組季軍🏆，充分體現了本校所重視的堅毅意志與團結精神。與此同時，五年級唐偉軒同學憑藉卓越的防守技術與沉著的臨場表現，在眾多參賽者中脫穎而出，榮獲全場三名最佳防守球員之一👏🏻。

TYTAPS Basketball Team Clinches Second Runner-Up in U14 D3 Division 🏆

Adhering to the educational philosophy of nurturing students according to their unique talents, our school actively encourages students to pursue excellence, challenge themselves, and unlock their full potential. In the recently concluded "2026 AXA x ASA Youth Basketball Elite Invitational", our school basketball team competed alongside young basketball talents, engaging in a series of intense matches. To prepare for this tournament, our team members underwent rigorous training sessions every weekend over the past few months. Throughout this period, our coaches and teachers accompanied them every step of the way, serving as the team's strongest pillar of support by providing tactical guidance and psychological support.

On the court, every member not only demonstrated skillful individual techniques but also displayed a high level of team chemistry and mutual trust. Encouraging and motivating each other through adversity, the team ultimately clinched the Second Runner-Up in the U14 D3 Group 🏆, fully embodying the perseverance and solidarity that our school highly values. Meanwhile, Primary 5 student Tong Wai Hin stood out with his outstanding defensive skills and composed on-court performance, being named one of the three Best Defensive Players of the tournament 👏🏻.

是次典禮獲特首李家超先生及教育局局長蔡若蓮女士親臨主禮，特首更致辭寄語全港教師。盧綺茵主任作為課程主任，一直致力設計及優化校本課程，近年更積極將STEAM教育、編程、生成式AI軟件及人工智能機械狗等元素融入跨學科學習，推動科技與創新教學，啟迪學生潛能。她亦以關愛同行，積極參與品德教育及國情教育，深受學生與家長信賴。

🎊 Congratulations to Ms Lo Yee-yan on receiving the "3rd Hong Kong Outstanding Teacher Ethics and Conduct Award"!
The award ceremony for the 3rd Hong Kong Outstanding Teacher Ethics and Conduct Award was held in a dignified yet vibrant atmosphere. Ms Lo Yee-yan received the Commendation Award in recognition of her noble professional ethics and remarkable teaching contributions.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr John Lee, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Ms Choi Yuk-lin, Secretary for Education. The Chief Executive also delivered a speech to encourage all teachers in Hong Kong. As our Primary School Curriculum Leader, Ms Lo has been dedicated to designing and enhancing our school-based curriculum. In recent years, she has actively integrated elements such as STEAM education, coding, generative AI software, and AI robotic dogs into interdisciplinary learning, driving technological and innovative teaching to unlock students’ potential. With a caring heart, she has also been deeply involved in moral education and national education, earning the trust of both students and parents.

Our school has been honoured with the "Hong Kong Outstanding Teacher Ethics and Conduct Award" (organised by Ta Kung Pao) for three consecutive years. This latest award once again affirms the efforts of our teaching team in nurturing students with virtue and advancing curriculum innovation. We will continue to uphold the spirit of having "firm ideals and convictions, moral sentiments, solid knowledge, and a benevolent heart" to provide our children with an even higher quality of education.
