HRSRA is a collaborative team aiming to protect and restore seagrass ecosystems in Hong Kong
HKSRA was launched in January 2023 as a joint, collaborative effort to restore seagrasses in Hong Kong. HKSRA 於 2023 年 1月啟動，肩負起香港海草復育的工作，為改善沿海海洋環境的可持續發展生態系統而努力。
During this first year, we will develop baseline information regarding seagrasses and carbon stocks. This information will assist our plans for restoring seagrasses in Hong Kong and the services they provide, particularly in terms of blue carbon.
第一年，我們將著力研究關於藍碳區域，海草和碳儲量相關海洋資源，以協助我們改善恢復和保育香港海草的工作。

HK Seagrass Restoration field trip with funding partners to Lamma where Seagrass meadows are flourishing.
The seagrass project has made so much progress in the past year and seagrass meadows are flourishing in Hong Kong. In addition to the benefits from enhanced carbon stocks where seagrass is growing, we are also seeing the positive impact of greater biodiversity - more fish, crabs and snails.
