INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY – SELF DEFENCE WORKSHOP

There’s been a lot of conversation recently about women in Jiu Jitsu.
About safety,respect and the kind of spaces we want to train in.

At D’JAGO, that’s something we care deeply about and what is woven into the heart of our space.
We believe women should feel welcome on the mats, supported by the people around them and confident in what they’re capable of.

This workshop will be led by - clinical psychologist, brown belt athlete, mother and co-owner of D’JAGO alongside Professor Kiko Cacella.

Kim brings a perspective that goes beyond just techniques.
This session is about awareness, confidence and learning practical skills in a supportive environment.

Affiliate Announcement 📣

As of this month, we are Hong Kong’s official Carlson Gracie team affiliate. Carrying this name and legacy - 20 years after his passing - is a huge privilege. Our Head Coach, Professor Kiko isn’t just part of this lineage; he trained alongside Grand Master Carlson Gracie Sr. in Rio and the USA, fought for him and now all of us at fight under his name.

We’re not just using the name - we’ve lived the history of the organisation, a rarity as the sport has grown. At the academy we quote him, have him in our mural on the mats and now we proudly formalise the relationship.

More than an affiliate, our teaching style comes directly from the foundations of Carlson Gracie. We teach simple, controlled and effective BJJ.

We pay homage to the man who helped shape BJJ as we know it. He was the first to bring teaching into a group class setting and built the most decorated competition team of all time. In BJJ, all roads lead back to Carlson.

We are honoured to represent the biggest name in BJJ history.

Holiday Update 🎄

As the year comes to a close, we will be taking a short break from December 24th through January 1st. While regular classes pause, adult open mats will still be running, with times shared via the WhatsApp community (if you’re not in, drop a comment below and we’ll get you added 🫡)!
