我們是香港教育大學的老師和研究員，專長是語言研究，探討人如何學習母語和外語、如何發展各種語言能力，以及探討語言與各種認知能力之間的關係。對象包括嬰幼兒、青少年、成人和老人。
我們現正進行一項跨國及跨語言的研究計劃，主要由香港教育大學語言學及現代語言系負責，研究嬰幼兒語音方面的能力及發展。我們現正招募14至30個月大嬰幼兒參與研究！如果想知道多一些本研究的內容或有任何查詢，歡迎聯絡我們研究小組成員。謝謝！

本研究探討嬰幼兒對聲母，韻母和聲調的相對靈敏度和使用。本研究在巴黎和香港兩地同時進行，使用相同設計和材料，研究14至30個月大、學習法語和廣東話的嬰幼兒。我們會記錄幼兒如何使用輔音，韻母和聲調對比去學習新詞，以及不相關的音調變化又如何影響詞彙學習歷程，以及了解聲調信息在語音感知系統發展過程中的作用。本研究將進一步研究雙語幼兒，以增進大家對雙語學習的了解。研究結果將作系統性的分析，探討語言輸入的角色，它與詞彙習得先天感知能力和其發展過程的交互作用。
