Cheque Presentation Ceremony on 29 April 2026 (Wed). Mark your diaries!

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Cheung Kung Kai, son of the late Mr. Cheung King Pak, will be making a generous donation to the Queen’s College Education Fund (QCEF). This contribution supports our alma mater’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence and student development.

The late Mr. Cheung King Pak shared a profound lifelong connection with QC. During his time as a student, he served as Head Prefect. He later returned to QC as a teacher in the 1950s. In 1961, succeeding Mr. Williamson, Mr. Cheung made history by becoming the school’s eighth Principal and its first Chinese Principal (1961–1964).

Dr. Cheung Kung Kai, a former professor at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), is a devoted advocate for education. He previously established the Cheung King Pak Memorial Scholarship at HKU in honour of his father’s legacy. This latest contribution to QC further commemorates his father's enduring impact on the school community.

We are also honored to announce that Mr. Wong Yan Lung, SC, Chairman of the Queen’s College Education Fund and former Secretary for Justice, will officiate the ceremony as our Guest of Honour.
