Here at Chiwawa, we are getting ready for Chinese New Year! Mantous are plain steamed buns which originated from China. In areas of Northern China, they are a festive food prepared for the celebratory season. Mantous can even be made into all kinds of shapes, such as flowers, butterflies, animals, etc., and decorated with dried Chinese dates (Jujube). Here, we share with you a simple, easy to follow recipe that you can make with kids!

Join Chiwawa and storyteller Godesiree as we retell the story and history of Tuen Ng Festival aka Dragon Boat Festival. Children will learn about the history of the festival and the sport, engage in song and dance and watch a short clip of Godesiree in a real dragon boat race!
