Due to the current situation, Little Explorers is not running a Christmas camp this year. We are also not associated with the holiday camp advertisement found in Discovery Bay. Apologies for any confusion.
Little Explorers Playgroup
We are proud to be the longest running playgroup and all classes are taught by a trained teacher. For the safety of your child, we are on the first floor.
We have three wonderful, spacious rooms for a fun play environment. Come and visit us soon!

Hello, Hello! ππΌ
As the hot and humid weather welcomes back another Hong Kong summer, Little Explorers has decided to take our playgroup on a Camping Adventure! We have been busy preparing our campfires this week and a few other surprises. Watch this space to see what is in store for our little campers this June! π

It has been a very quiet week at the playgroup but we hope to welcome everyone back as soon as possible. Stay safe and healthy! Stick with your loved ones and look for the rainbows! We miss you! π

During this difficult time, we could all use a little luck of the Irish. Hope everyone is hanging in there! π

We had a lot of fun last week! We created our own glittery sea floors complete with a shell to share with our friends. Nicely done ππ»
Check out a few of our creations! π

March has brought us the wonderfully talented Julia Donaldson! We have read a couple of her stories already, but focused quite a bit this week on πβπππππ π πβπππ.
We broke out the sensory bins for a bit of sand and sea fun to get us through this gloomy weather. The children also got a chance to hear the sounds of the sea from a huge conch shell π. Can't wait to share our crafty little project later this week! π

Little Explorers finished the month of February with Eric Carle by trying our hand at the way he creates his illustrations. We used tissue paper to create collages on paper stars. It was a sticky, crunchy mess but we had fun choosing all of our favorite colors. Parents, please check out our very own art gallery at pick up!

We like to create some pretty big scenes over here at Little Explorers. The children had some great dinosaur battles with lots of lava and rock formations this week. We also got to check out some penguins and friends ruling the icy seas. π

Tiny hands went to work last week!
We had a lot of fun making animal sounds while reading Bill Martin Jr.'s ππ°ππ’π³ ππ¦π’π³, ππ°ππ’π³ ππ¦π’π³, ππ©π’π΅ ππ° π π°πΆ ππ¦π’π³? Then we tried our hand at Eric Carle's illustrations by creating our very own polar bears and peacocks. Your Little Explorers capped off a good week with some squishy water bead action as we talked about other animals that live near polar bears. π¦π³π§

We have a very special post today β₯οΈ A mother of one of our very own students has recently published a book, Please Be You! And not only that, but it was recognized as one of Bookazine's Top 5 Books for February!
Little Explorers was graced with a copy and it has a message we can definitely get behind. Remembering the ABC's by way of self-love, confidence and empathy makes so much sense. Our students have been learning a new set of ABCs as well as enjoying the beautiful illustrations. Let us know if we can help you get your hands on a copy!
Thank you for sharing your book with us and congratulations on this amazing accomplishment ! ~ Joanne Hay
