Agnes Shek, one of our Koinonia fellowship student was chosen to do a scripture reading of Colossians 3:15-17.
"15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3:15-17.
She was thrilled to be selected, “I am so grateful to be selected to join it as the representative on stage to read the scripture part of the Cantonese version of the Bible and one of the worshipers in the choir. This is my honor and grace. It is amazing! The hymns and worship sermons touched and encouraged me to persist in completing the courses and exams at hand. I hope that Lord will use me to "inherit" the precious bits and pieces I have learned. In the future, I will be blessed with Lord's love and education for the next generation."
Agnes continued, "I wish to express my current feelings with Bible: Those who sow with tears shall reap with joy. He who goes out to sow with seeds and tears will return with joy and joy with sheaves. (Psalm 126:5-6 CNV)"
