Welcome to the official HKUST Convocation page on Facebook! Become a fan NOW! The Convocation is created in November 2010.

A platform for UST alumni (Convocation Members) to speak out your ideas , and to provide suggestions related to UST matters. All degree graduates of HKUST are its members. A Standing Committee is the executive body of the Convocation. The 2nd Standing Committee of the Convocation was elected on Mar 23, 2013 during the Annual General Meeting (AGM).The nine elected Standing Committee Members service for a term of 2 years commencing from April 1, 2013.

[HKUST Convocation Standing Committee 2025-27]

The 8th Standing Committee Members of HKUST Convocation 2025-2027 have been elected. The committee members will serve for a term of 2 years, commencing from today.

The nine Standing Committee Members are:
• Chairman: TSANG Kin Chung, Terry (2004 BEng (CIVL), 2006 MPhil (CIVL), 2018 MBA)
• Vice-Chairman: CHAN Chi Kin, Ivan (2007 MBA)
• CHAN Kwai Ying, Jessie (2018 MBA)
• CHAN Yin Ki, Eugina (2024 BBA (ECON))
• CHENG Leong Kwan, Brian (2012 BBA (ACCT))
• FAN Shiu Pong, Damon (2003 BBA (MARK))
• SUEN Hiu Yan, F***y (2005 BBA(MARK))
• TSUI Chun Yin, Bennet (2007 BBA(MARK))
• YIP Lai Ting, F***y (2018 MBA)

Established in November 2010, the HKUST Convocation acts as a platform to engage alumni in the development of the university by fostering goodwill among its members and between the Convocation and the University. The Standing Committee will hold regular meetings among its members, as well as with senior management and students, to enhance communication among all stakeholders of HKUST.

[HKUST Convocation Standing Committee 2023-25]

The 7th Convocation Standing Committee has been elected at the 12th Convocation Annual General Meeting. The Committee will hold office for a term of 2 years, commencing from today. The Standing Committee 2023-25 members are:

The Convocation was established in November 2010 to promote goodwill among members of the Convocation and the University. The Standing Committee will host regular meetings among themselves, and with senior management and students to foster tighter communications among all HKUST stakeholders.

Convocation recently supported the Development and Alumni Office in organizing the first HKUST Alumni Entrepreneur Gathering and Showcase in Science Park, with over 70 alumni-founded companies in attendance.

HKUST Convocation Standing Committee met with Dr. Sabrina Lin, Vice-President for Institutional Advancement, and was very glad to learn about the latest development of the university and its vision under our new president.

The 1st Convocation Standing Committee meeting this year was full of excitement as members engaged in topics of interest to students and alumni, including the university's latest facilities development, academic achievements, support for entrepreneurs, and student affairs.
