We’re delighted to invite submissions for the symposium, held at Central China Normal University (Wuhan, Hubei, China) on July 11–12, 2026. The symposium features plenary sessions and parallel paper sessions in English or Chinese.
✅ We welcome unpublished, original research using quantitative approaches across (including but not limited to): economic & social history, political history, cultural history, business/financial history, and archival history.

As part of the HKU Family Wealth Lecture Series, we hosted a fireside chat between Mr. Anthony Tse and Ms. Bonnie Leung on April 9, 2026.
Mr. Tse, an exit founder and TEDx speaker, has worked across financial institutions, family offices and early childhood education. The enlightening fireside chat covered a range of topics, spanning from Mr. Tse’s experience working in a family office to starting his own early childhood education group. Currently a coach to senior professionals and a professional board director, Mr. Tse also imparted valuable lessons to the audience around leadership, entrepreneurship, and ethics, emphasizing the importance of empathy and relationship building in any role.
The chat was moderated by the Programme Director to the Master of Family Wealth Management, Ms. Bonnie Leung. HKU’s Master of Family Wealth Management is a full-time, taught post-graduate programme aiming to groom future family wealth manager through an interdisciplinary curriculum.
