Ever wonder why that thick triangular muscle on the back of your shoulder blade, hanging next to armpits, ALWAYS FEEL SO SORE? 🤷🏻♀️🤯🤷🏻♂️🤯🤷🏼♀️🤯🤷🏼♂️🤯 Infraspinatus - As one of the 4 stabilizer muscles of the rotator cuff, the function of infraspinatus is external and lateral rotation.
The most common way it tightens up is by sitting at a desk, working in front of a computer. One tends to end up in a rounded-shoulder position at the desk, as the shoulders rotated inwardly, the infraspinatus elongated infinitely.
Also, by always holding your phone in front of you daily, for hours 😅
