In the video they are doing a set of partner drills called chi sao section 7. In the class we teach students section chi sao, so that they get a chance to practice different hand techniques. The one that they are practicing is called the fak sao drill, which is a diagonal chop to the throat.

Siu nim tau form from wingchun performed by my student Amy. The form emphasise on utilises the small joints as much as possible, be aware of the spine alignment, and relax the muscles together with the mind.

I believe teaching, should be student oriented, rather than teacher oriented, which means as a teacher how skilful you are is less important, what is more important is how you can pass on the art, and spread out the art. Leadership group people are working on their second part of the section chi sao. Chi sao is a way to train the sensitivity of the arms, when the force is too strong, you yield to it, when the force is weak then you go in. No matter what you do, learning how to listen and sense is important, when you truly understand the meaning of sensing, you will find the job much easier to accomplish

“You may say i ‘m a dreamer but i’m not the only one. “ Living in hk, sometimes it’s not easy to fulfil our dreams because of the circumstances and cultural background. However, it’s also because of that, we have to really believe in ourselves and break through the barriers that we had set it up for ourselves. Frame is meant to be break, only through breaking the frame, one can truly grows.
