Happy Motherโs Day! ๐ฅฐ
Before I ever became a mother, I was shaped by one.
My mom taught me resilience not by preaching it, but by living itโquietly, consistently, and often without applause.
She showed me that leadership doesnโt always look like a title. Sometimes it looks like staying up late to listen. Or starting over. Or standing up when itโs hard.
Now as a mother myself, Iโm reminded daily that leadership starts with loveโand often, with the smallest choices.
Like this morning... it kinda started rough.
Some frowns. Slow to the table. A bit of rushing and rising tension as we tried to get out the door for school.
But thenโtickles. A joke. A smile.
Suddenly we were in full โOpposite Dayโ mode, laughing our way through breakfast, getting dressed, and heading out in record time.
It was a win.
And for every parent reading thisโyou know that was a big win.
At Life Beyond School, we believe these are the real classrooms.
Resilience, emotional intelligence, and adaptability are built in the quiet, everyday moments we often donโt realize are teaching anything at all.
To my own mother: thank you for the legacy you gave me.
To every mother out there: thank you for raising the future, one imperfect, love-filled morning at a time.
Happy Mother's Day! Share your moments in the comments. Let's celebrate our wins together xo
