【認識3大正向心理學概念　學習Bounce Back! | 導師培訓工作坊回顧🌱】

「壓力爆煲喇！」每個人面對逆境時，壓力到達臨界點便有機會引致情緒爆發。PMQ Seed較早前舉行的導師培訓工作坊，邀請了香港心聆 Mind HK 的團隊向大家分享與抗逆力相關的理論和實戰體驗。

1. PERMA-H
從正向情緒 (Positive Emotions)、全情投入 (Engagement)、正向關係 (Relationships)、生命意義 (Meaning)、成就感 (Accomplishment) 及正向身心 (Health) 多個面向正視自身的情緒，尋找生活中的幸福感。每個人都有屬於自己的性格強項，不妨從個人性格強項 (VIA Character Strengths) 中，幫助自己找出發揮潛能的地方！

2. 成長型思維及壓力容量
成長型思維相信能力可以透過努力發展，而非天生固定。面對挫折時，最重要是了解自己的限制，思考下一次如何準備得更好；同時也要覺察自己的「壓力容量」，就像容器的水位一樣，預留空間，避免「爆煲」。

3. 正面重估
面對負面事件時，創造距離、正念觀察、轉移注意力等方法都可以幫助我們重新詮釋事情以調整心態。

【Introduction to 3 Concepts of Positive Psychology, Learn to Bounce Back! | Train the Trainer Recap🌱】

‘I’m about to explode from stress!’ When people face adversity, once their stress reaches a critical point, it can lead to emotional outbursts. We are grateful to the training team from Mind HK for leading this workshop and sharing both theoretical insights and practical strategies on resilience.

1. PERMA-H Model
This model looks at Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, Accomplishment, and Health to help individuals acknowledge their emotions and discover well-being in daily life. Everyone has their own character strengths; exploring tools like the VIA Character Strengths can help identify areas to unlock personal potential!

2. Growth Mindset & Stress Capacity
A growth mindset means believing our abilities can grow through effort, not that they're fixed forever. After a setback, the key is reflecting on our limits and how to prepare better next time while also staying aware of our own "stress capacity," like a water level in a container, so we leave room before it overflows.

3. Positive Reappraisal
When facing negative situations, techniques such as creating psychological distance, practicing mindfulness, shifting attention can help us reframe perspectives and adjust our mindset.

【Extra Session Added🥳 Creative Training Class (Community) “Magic of Light Academy”】

The Creative Training Class (Community) “Magic of Light Academy” held in July, was a huge and joyful success, PMQ Seed will add an extra session before the summer holiday ends! At the “A group of “little magicians” learned about reflection, projection, and glow-in-the-dark magic, then successfully designed maze games and led their parents through solving an ancient magic circle💫!

This year’s Creative Training Class (Community), “Magic of Light Academy,” uses experiential learning to explore light and practice light magic. We "hit roadblocks" in a group, gaining hands-on experience through sensing, experimenting, and creating to understand the scientific principles behind light and its endless possibilities. Limited posts available, seize the end of the summer holiday!

【撞板好可怕？成長思維打開學習的不同可能🗝️】

小朋友成長階段都會希望學習得心應手，但求學過程難免會碰釘，遇到逆境或挫折更會感到沮喪和害怕。從創意學習角度，學生擁有容錯的空間，有如打開更多可能性，也可視為驚喜和樂趣！

國際學生能力評估計劃（PISA）由經濟合作與發展組織（OECD）策劃，每三年評估一次參與國家中15歲學生在數學、科學及閱讀方面的能力 📊 。2022年的結果顯示，香港學生在數學及科學表現持續高於國際平均，學術成績名列前茅，但只有40%的學生具備「成長思維」，低於OECD 平均值。

面對失敗時，往往會把原因歸咎於自己的能力不足，而能力與智力被視為與生俱來的特質，不太相信它們能夠改變。

世界瞬息萬變，未來學生除了掌握知識，更需培養解難能力、批判思考及跨學科應用能力💡。學生擁有成長思維，懂得靈活應變，並持續反思與修正，是成長中累積經驗的重要一環。

PISA 2025的結果將於今年9月公佈📅 ，香港學生的表現將會如何？或許比起分數，我們更值得關注學生是否已準備好擁抱未來挑戰，從「試錯」中成長🌱 。

【Scared of “Messing Up?” Growth Mindset is the key to explore possibilities🗝️】

Children hope to master their learning in every aspect during their growth. However, encountering difficulties is inevitable, and they may feel discouraged or frightened when facing adversity and setbacks.

When it comes to creative learning, children making mistakes is like an open door for possibilities, which can be surprising and fun!

The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), organized by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), evaluates 15-year-old students every three years in mathematics, science, and reading📊.

According to the 2022 report, Hong Kong students continue to perform above the international average in mathematics and science, ranking among the top globally🏆. However, only 40% of students demonstrate a “growth mindset” which was lower than the OECD average. Many students hesitate to face challenges due to fear of failure and concern about others’ opinions.

In the ever-changing world, apart from acquiring knowledge, students also need to develop problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to apply knowledge across disciplines💡. Students building a “growth mindset,” encouraging them to explore and experiment in situations without predefined solutions.

The results of PISA 2025 will be released this September📅. How will Hong Kong students perform? Perhaps more importantly than scores, we should consider whether students are ready to embrace challenges and grow amid uncertainty🌱. Through creative education, we can nurture stronger resilience in students and prepare them to face more “happy accidents” in the future✨!

當量詞開始被「玩轉」，語言不再只是規則📃，而是一場充滿想像力的遊戲🕹️。

🔎 科學探索

🧠 解難與創意思維
活動設有層層挑戰，但沒有標準答案。小魔法師需要勇氣不斷嘗試、調整與改良，從「試錯」中發掘驚喜，並活用AI，創作屬於自己的「光魔法」。

💡 體驗設計與表達能力
第二天，小朋友會把第一天所學的光魔法重新設計與應用，策劃一場為家長設計的光魔法迷宮的體驗，邀請家長參與，將創意轉化為真實體驗，並有一份設計的閃光小裝置帶回家！

從構想到實踐，再到向家長展示成果，小朋友學會清晰表達自己的想法，並在分享與回饋中建立自信。

This summer, children will transform into “Little Magicians”💫 and step into the Academy of Light Magic for a two-day creative journey filled with discovery and imagination. Through experiential learning, they won’t just observe light or learn to use “light magic.” Working in teams, they will experiment hands-on, test ideas, and even “hit roadblocks” together — discovering through trial and error the science behind light and its endless possibilities.

What will children learn?

🔎 Scientific Exploration
Through magical themes that spark curiosity and interest, children will explore the fundamental principles of light through hands-on experiments and observation. They will discover how light can be “captured,” how it changes when interacting with different materials, and how various forms of light can be created.

🧠 Problem-Solving & Creative Thinking
The camp includes layered challenges with no single correct answer. Little Magicians will need the courage to experiment, adjust, and improve their ideas. By learning through trial and error, they will uncover surprises and even use AI tools to create their own unique “light magic.”

💡 Experience Design & Communication Skills
On Day 2, children will redesign and apply the light magic they learned on Day 1 to create an immersive Light Magic Maze experience specially designed for their parents. They will invite their parents to participate, transforming their creativity into a real-life interactive experience — and each child will bring home a self-designed glowing mini device!

💛 Confidence & Sense of Achievement
