大灣區經貿協會來訪蒞臨校園參觀

大灣區經貿協會秘書長吳海岳先生及大灣區經貿協會教育發展主席暨啓彥教育創辦人黃玉華女士於2026年8月27日到訪耀中幼教學院，由耀中幼教學院副校長（管理及發展）李岩女士及學院拓展總監陳少英女士熱誠接待。

吳先生及黃女士對耀中幼教學院的教育理念及其培育未來幼兒教育工作者的承擔留下深刻印象，並對學院致力透過專業培訓及全人發展提升幼兒教育質素表示讚賞。訪問期間，雙方就幼兒教育在塑造下一代方面所扮演的角色進行了深入而富啟發性的交流。

是次會面就多個潛在合作範疇展開對話，涵蓋教育、專業發展、社區拓展及學生參與等方面，雙方均表示期待進一步探討合作機會。

訪問在愉快氣氛中圓滿結束，雙方對未來的合作前景深感期待，並承諾攜手建立互利的夥伴關係，為學生及更廣泛的教育界帶來深遠而正面的影響。

Mr Marc Ng, Secretary General of GBA Economic and Trade Association, and Ms Judy Wong, Chair of Quality Education Development of GBA Economic and Trade Association and Founder of Consilium Education Company Limited, visited the Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) on 27 August 2026. The delegation was warmly hosted by Ms Cathy Li, Vice-President (Operations & Development) and Ms Alice Chan, Director of Institutional Advancement.

The representatives were introduced to YCCECE's educational vision and its commitment to nurturing future early childhood educators through professional training and whole-person development. Both Mr Ng and Ms Wong expressed appreciation for the College's dedication to quality education, and the visit sparked a lively exchange of ideas on the role of early childhood education in shaping future generations.

The meeting opened dialogue on a range of potential areas of collaboration that could create mutual value for students, the Association, and the broader community. These included opportunities in education, professional development, community outreach, and student engagement, with further discussions to follow.

The visit concluded on an encouraging note, with both sides expressing enthusiasm for the possibilities ahead and a shared commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships that benefit students and the wider education landscape.

瞿子涵女士蒞臨耀中幼教學院參觀交流

香港東西融合教育研究院執行院長瞿子涵女士於8月19日蒞臨耀中幼教學院交流。是次訪問由耀中幼教學院校長暨兒童發展講座教授李敬廉教授、副校長（管理及發展）李岩女士及學院拓展總監陳少英女士親切接待。

瞿女士自2021年起一直是耀中幼教學院的忠實支持者，慷慨捐助獎學金及研究計劃，為學生帶來深遠而積極的影響。是次訪問的動人時刻，莫過於獎學金得主梁雅貽同學的真誠分享——她衷心感謝瞿女士過去兩年的慷慨支持，使她得以在今年升讀幼教學院的幼兒教育榮譽學士三年級。

是次訪問在融洽愉快的氛圍中圓滿結束，雙方再次確認了共同支持學生發展、攜手為年輕學子創造更美好未來的堅定承擔。

𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐐𝐮

Ms Melody Qu, Executive Dean of Hong Kong Institute of Sino-Western Integrated Education, visited the Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) on 19 August. The visit was warmly hosted by Prof Kerry Lee, President & Chair Professor of Child Development, Ms Cathy Li, Vice-President (Operations & Development) and Ms Alice Chan, Director of Institutional Advancement.

A dedicated donor since 2021, Ms Qu has been a steadfast supporter of YCCECE, contributing generously to scholarship and research programmes that make a meaningful difference in students' lives. A heartfelt highlight of the visit was a sharing by scholarship recipient Ms Joanne Leong Nga Yi, who expressed her sincere gratitude to Ms Qu for her generous support over the past year, which has enabled her to advance to the third year of Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Early Childhood Education this academic year at YCCECE.

The visit concluded on a warm and positive note, with both parties reaffirming their shared commitment to supporting student development and contributing to a brighter future for young learners.

周大福人壽保險有限公司蒞臨校園參觀

周大福人壽保險有限公司（「周大福人壽」）首席業務發展官葉麗芳女士偕同業務總監郭崢嶸先生及助理經理朱靄茵女士，於8月17日蒞臨耀中幼教學院（耀中幼教）參觀交流。是次訪問由耀中幼教學院副校長（管理及發展）李岩女士、學院拓展總監陳少英女士及學院拓展經理廖翠霞女士親切接待。

訪問期間，周大福人壽代表團對耀中幼教的教育理念、核心價值及培育未來世代的承擔留下深刻印象。李岩副校長向代表團介紹了學院在幼兒教育領域的獨特理念，以及致力促進幼兒全人發展的教育方向，代表團對此深感啟發。

會面期間，雙方就潛在合作方向展開交流，並表達了探索合作的意願。其中，雙方對共同設計度身訂造的實習及獎學金計劃抱有濃厚興趣，期望為學生及參與各方創造雙贏價值，並將就相關計劃的具體安排作進一步討論。

是次訪問在愉快融洽的氛圍中圓滿結束，雙方均表達了攜手合作的意願，期待共同為學生及社會大眾創造積極影響。

Ms Bear Yip, Chief Business Development Officer of Chow Tai F**k Life Insurance Company Limited (CTF Life), together with Mr Brian Kwok, Business Director of Business Proposition, and Ms Yanis Chee, Assistant Manager of Business Proposition, visited the Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) on 17 August. The delegation was warmly hosted by Ms Cathy Li, Vice-President (Operations & Development), Ms Alice Chan, Director of Institutional Advancement, and Ms Mimi Liu, Manager of Institutional Advancement.

The CTF Life representatives were impressed by YCCECE's educational vision, values, and commitment to nurturing future generations. Ms Li introduced the College's unique approach to early childhood education and its dedication to fostering holistic development in young learners, which the delegation found both meaningful and inspiring.

The meeting opened dialogue on potential areas of collaboration, with both sides expressing interest in exploring partnerships. In particular, there was mutual interest in developing a tailor-made internship and scholarship programme that would create value for students and participating parties alike, with further discussions to follow.

The visit concluded on a positive note, with both sides expressing a commitment to working together to create meaningful impact for students and the wider community.

✨ 【體驗日精彩回顧】中學學生走進耀中幼教校園 探索幼教的無限可能✨

耀中幼教學院上星期舉辦體驗日，一眾中四至中六的學生參與，親身探索幼兒教育的多元面向與校園生活📚

🏫學院的幼兒教育榮譽學士課程主任劉萌然博士及幼兒教育與照顧文憑課程主任伍倩僩女士進行課程簡介，並由畢業生Umme-Hibbah及Rain Hong 分享學習經歷與職涯發展。

一眾學生亦在📍耀學園體驗特色工作坊，包括帆布袋製作及報紙紙塔挑戰，從中體驗 「耀中幼教教學法」及「從遊戲中學習」的教學理念。

感謝各位學生的參與，學院期待未來與大家再次相聚🤗

✨ Experience Day Highlights: Secondary School Students Explore the Possibilities of ECE✨

YCCECE hosted an Experience Day last week and a group of S4-S6 students participated to explore the diverse field of early childhood education and our campus.📚

🏫Dr LIU Mengran (Serena), Programme Manager of the BEd (Hons) in Early Childhood Education, and Ms Carrie Ng, Programme Manager of the Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, introduced the College’s programmes and learning pathways. Graduates, Umme-Hibbah and Rain Hong also shared their learning experiences and career development journeys.

Students then joined hands-on workshops at the 📍Pamela Peck Discovery Space 耀學園 , including tote bag-designing and a newspaper tower-building challenge. Through these activities, they experienced The Yew Chung Approach and Learning through Play in action.

We would like to thank all the students for their participation. We look forward to meeting everyone again in the future🤗

校長兼兒童發展講座教授李敬廉教授，於七月底獲泰國孔敬大學（Khon Kaen University）邀請，出席第十九屆國際教育研究會議（ICER 2026）並發表主題演講。

恭喜劉晴博士獲頒2024/25 年度自資高等教育聯盟（FSTE）傑出教學獎。這項榮譽充分肯定劉博士在創新教學、促進學生學習及追求教育卓越方面的投入與貢獻。

We are delighted to share the good news that 𝐃𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐮 𝐐𝐢𝐧𝐠 has been awarded the Federation for Self-financing Tertiary Education (FSTE) Teaching Excellence Award 2024/25. This outstanding achievement is a well-deserved recognition of her dedication to teaching excellence and commitment to student learning.

Dr Liu will also share her teaching practices at the FSTE Award Presentation Ceremony and Excellence in Education Forum 2026. Her presentation, titled “From Passive Learning to Productive Struggle: Making Thinking Visible in Early Childhood Teacher Education”, will offer insights into her approach to teaching and learning. We warmly welcome all educators, students and members of the public who are interested in teaching and learning to join.
