Introducing, the newest addition to the MHS Pure Science Scholars, Ms. Ashley Romascindo! 🎉 Congratulations on achieving 6 grade 1s, 2 grade 2s and 2 grade 3s and becoming the Top Overall Performer in the science stream at the May/June, 2018 sitting of this year's CXC CSEC examinations. Goes to show that hard work, determination and great focus are key in being successful at whatever task you take on. Always bear these words by Lao Tzu in mind: "A scholar who cherishes the love of comfort is not fit to be deemed a scholar." Once again, congratulations on your massive achievement and best wishes for your next adventure!

ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS TRAINING OPPORTUNITY | The Ministry of Education, Department of Culture Youth and Sport is currently recruiting students ages 16-25 for their Youth Entrepreneurial Skills Training Programme.
Courses offered are:
1. Data Operations
2. Carpentry
3. Electrical Installation
4. Garment Construction
5. Plumbing
6. Furniture Making
7. Masonry
8. Motor vehicle Repairs
9. Refrigeration and Air Condition
10. Welding
The training will be held at Kuru Kuru Training Centre (KKTC), Soesdyke-Linden Highway for a duration of ten (10) months.
Potential students will be required to fill out an application form as well as to write an entrance examination that will cover three subjects (Basic Mathematics, English Language and Social Studies). Candidates must walk with a valid form of ID and one passport-sized photograph on the day of the examination.
Date of Exam: July 22nd, 2017
Time of Exam: 09:00 hrs.
Venue: Carifesta Sports Complex (Carifesta Avenue)
If you are interested in the Programme but you are unable to sit the exam on that specific date, kindly make contact with the Office of the Deputy Director of Youth or the Office of the Presidential Advisor on Youth Empowerment for an alternative arrangement.
