Hopetown Primary School celebrated Guyana's 60th Independence Diamond Jubilee with a vibrant Colour Splash activity. Pupils, teachers, and community members participated in the celebration by wearing colourful outfits, enjoying fun activities, and showing patriotism in honour of Guyana’s rich history, culture, and achievements over the past 60 years of independence. The event created an atmosphere of unity, joy, and national pride throughout the school community.

Hopetown Primary School proudly came together to commemorate Arrival Day with a vibrant and meaningful celebration. Pupils and staff beautifully showcased the rich cultural heritage of Guyana by representing the various ethnic groups who journeyed to and helped shape the nation. Through creative displays, attire, and performances, the school highlighted the diversity, unity, and shared history that define Guyanese identity. The event served as both an educational and inspiring experience, fostering appreciation, respect, and pride in the country’s multicultural roots.
