Congratulations to New Silver City Secondary, St. Ignatius Secondary, and DC Caesar Fox Secondary, who pushed us all the way to the final race. It was a thrilling contest, but the Royals stood firm! 👑💜

A heartfelt thank you to our Regional Education Officer, the Department of Education Region 4, our Principal and Administration, our parents, coaches, supporters, and everyone who has played a part in this remarkable journey. Your unwavering support has helped make this historic year possible.

🖤 It is with deep sadness that the President's College family mourns the passing of Ms. Cheryl Skeete.

Ms. Skeete faithfully served as an Accounts Clerk at President's College for more than a decade. She will be fondly remembered for her warm personality, kind heart, and the genuine care and professionalism she brought to her work each day. Her presence touched the lives of students, staff, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

On behalf of the administration, staff, students, alumni, and the entire President's College family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

We are grateful for her years of dedicated service to our school community. May she rest in eternal peace. 🖤🕊️

💜🇬🇾 President's College proudly represented Guyana at Island Showdown 2026 in Trinidad & Tobago, competing alongside schools from across the Caribbean.

Our athletes performed admirably, finishing 2nd overall on the combined points table. We also salute fellow our Guyanese schools MacKenzie High School for placing 3rd in the Boys' Championship and Christianburg Wismar Secondary School for finishing 2nd in the Girls' Championship. Together, we were proud to represent Guyana on the regional stage.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all of our sponsors for making this opportunity possible, with special thanks to the Ministry of Education, the Regional Democratic Council (Region 4), and the Department of Education Region 4 for their invaluable support.

We also express our heartfelt appreciation to the executives of the Trinidad & Tobago Secondary Schools Track & Field Association for their warm invitation, outstanding hospitality, and for providing our athletes with the opportunity to compete in such a well-organized and high-quality competition.

💜🏆 A Historic Weekend for President's College! 🏆💜

Our U18 Girls captured the National Schools Basketball Festival Championship for the first time ever, marking a landmark achievement for our basketball programme. 👑🏀

Our U18 Boys claimed their second National Schools Basketball Festival Championship, adding another chapter to the proud legacy of President's College basketball. 💪🏆

Special congratulations to our captain Sarah Williams, who was deservedly named the Girls MVP, and to Mattaniah Fordyce, who earned U18 Boys MVP honours. Your leadership, dedication, and outstanding performances inspired your teams when it mattered most.

We also applaud our U15 Girls Football Team, who finished 4th in the Blue Water Shipping U15 Girls Competition after an outstanding campaign. You represented President's College with determination, heart, and pride.

Congratulations to our players, coaches, parents, supporters, and everyone who continues to build a true culture of excellence at President's College.

⚽ And for our football supporters, our U15 Girls will also be in semifinal action against Annai Secondary at 1pm in the Blue Water Shipping U15 Girls' Competition at the GFF National Training Centre, Providence.
