In August 2019, we hosted our very first UGRC Roboduino Workshop for students.
Fast forward 6 years to August 2025, and weβve brought Roboduino to the Essequibo Coast for the first time through our Summer Robotics & Coding Workshop.
Take a look at our Then vs. Now collage, featuring our team and young minds who have been a part of these initiatives.π
Hereβs to empowering the next generation. Stay tuned for whatβs next!

Our UGRC Summer Robotics & Coding Workshop was a success, and it wouldnβt have been possible without the support of our community. π
Over three days, we introduced young minds to the world of robotics and coding through hands-on activities with Arduino and prototyping projects.
A huge thank you and appreciation to everyone who made this possible:
π The University of Guyana, PACE & Vice Chancellor XI, Prof. Paloma Mohamed Martin
π Ms. Tage Singh-Jaichand, Host of the IDCE, Anna Regina
π All the parents and guardians who signed up their children, and especially the parents who kindly provided refreshments: Rakesh Samaroo, Rupan Ramotar & Telston Hangover.
And of course, our incredible UGRC mentors and advisors for planning and executing such a great initiative. π
Thatβs a wrap on our first workshop in Essequibo! Stay tuned to see where we go next. π
