The Guyana Institute was established to promote historical studies at post graduate level. There is also the institute's online museum.
The Guyana Institute promotes historical studies through, exhibitions, symposia, conferences, lectures, and collaboration with other tertiary level institutions. Registration for new applicants for online courses is in October and January.
