The Guyana Institute was established to promote historical studies at post graduate level. There is also the institute's online museum.

The Guyana Institute promotes historical studies through, exhibitions, symposia, conferences, lectures, and collaboration with other tertiary level institutions. Registration for new applicants for online courses is in October and January.

We’re joining forces with The Herstorian, Kaye Jones for a special webinar exploring the untold stories of women who shaped our history and how we can make sure their achievements are remembered.

The session will also spotlight our Blue Plaque Initiative, sharing stories of women who have already been honoured and the importance of recognising their legacy within the bus, coach and community transport sector.
