CPCE Anna Regina Centre Welcomes Cohort 2026!

The Cyril Potter College of Education (CPCE), Anna Regina Centre, hosted its Orientation Exercise for the incoming Cohort 2026. The activity brought together prospective teacher candidates as they officially began their journey into teacher's training.

The Head of Centre,
Ms. Singh, warmly welcomed the new teacher candidates and congratulated them on joining the CPCE family. She encouraged them to embrace the opportunities ahead and remain committed to their professional development.

Ms. Humel, Deputy Head of Centre, delivered an informative presentation on Deportment and Professionalism, highlighting the importance of proper conduct, attitude, appearance, and professional responsibility as they prepare to enter the teaching profession.

Also addressing the new cohort was Mr. Parmanand Singh, Head of the Education Committee and SEND Officer. He emphasized that the new cohort of trainees will play an important role in the continued development of Region #2 and will contribute significantly to strengthening and boosting the education sector across the region.

Bringing special greetings Ms. Jeneffer Drakes who represented the Regional Education Officer, Ms. Shondelle Hercules conveyed best wishes to the Teacher canidates on behalf of the Department of Education In her brief remarks, Ms.Drakes , welcome them to a new journey and encourage them to be committed and dedicated towards their studies at the Cyril Potter College of Education

Mr. Seunandan also engaged the prospective teacher candidates with a presentation on the Curriculum, providing valuable insight into their programme of study and expectations.

The orientation also included the participation of part-time lecturers, who shared brief remarks and words of encouragement with the incoming cohort.

If you submitted an online application between May 11 – June 30, 2026, in any of these categories, please note:

✅ You MUST have 5 CSEC subjects, inclusive of Mathematics and English A, Grades 1–3, to proceed.

❌ Applicants who do not meet this criteria will not be considered at this time.

Eligible applicants should visit their closest CPCE Centre with all required documents (originals + copies) to complete registration.
