Our pupils proudly participated in the "Anything Other Than a Book Bag" activity. They truly understood the assignment! The school compound was filled with excitement as students arrived with imaginative and creative alternatives to traditional school bags. Their bright smiles and enthusiasm made the day even more special.

We are proud of our pupils for thinking outside the box and showcasing their unique talents. Activities like these help to create a fun and engaging learning environment where every child can shine.

✨ Happy 60th Independence Anniversary to all proud Guyanese near and far — from Region 1 to Region 10, from the East Coast to the beautiful Hinterland, and to all our ethnic groups who make Guyana unique and strong. 🇬🇾

As we celebrate our 60th Diamond Jubilee, we at the New Eden School of Excellence proudly hosted a hive of activities for our pupils. Our Youth Week began with educational and informative tours around Georgetown, where pupils had the opportunity to learn and explore many important aspects of our country’s history and culture.

We concluded the celebrations with a spectacular Independence Concert where our talented pupils showcased their abilities through singing, dancing, modelling, and many other performances. It was truly a memorable occasion filled with patriotism, joy, and unity.

We extend sincere thanks to all our parents for their kind cooperation and continued support throughout these activities.

Mother’s Day Sip and Paint Celebration
On Friday, May 8th, 2026, the mothers of New Eden School of Excellence, along with their child or children, participated in a wonderful Sip and Paint activity to celebrate Mother’s Day.
The atmosphere was filled with love, joy, laughter, and creativity as mothers and children spent meaningful time together bonding through art and shared experiences. It was truly a heartwarming occasion that strengthened the special connection between mother and child.

Wishing Our Grade 6 Pupils Success in Their NGSA Exams.

At New Eden School of Excellence, we are proud to announce that our Grade 6 pupils will be sitting their first National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) 2026. This is an important milestone in their academic journey, marking the transition to secondary education.

Over the years, our pupils have worked diligently, showing determination, growth, and a strong commitment to their studies. With the guidance of our dedicated teachers and the support of their families, they are well prepared to face this challenge with confidence.

School Newsletter – Grade 5 Highlights

This term, our Grade 5 pupils proudly participated in an engaging group presentation activity on the topic “How to Make a Cheese Sandwich.” The classroom was filled with excitement as students worked together to plan, prepare, and present their ideas in a clear and creative way.

Each group demonstrated their understanding of the steps involved in making a cheese sandwich, showing excellent organization, teamwork, and confidence. Pupils used simple ingredients and explained each stage carefully, from preparing the bread to assembling the sandwich etc. Some groups even added their own creative touches, making their presentations both informative and enjoyable.

This activity was more than just a lesson—it was an opportunity for students to develop important life skills such as communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. Watching our pupils support each other and share responsibilities was truly rewarding.

At New Eden School of Excellence, we believe that education goes beyond textbooks. We are committed to providing extra-curricular activities that help bring out the best in every child. These experiences build confidence, creativity, and teamwork, preparing our pupils for success both inside and outside the classroom.
