Key Club, one of GIA’s Middle and High School Clubs coordinated a Walk-a-Thon on Saturday, April 25th. Starting at GIA and ending at the sea wall in Georgetown, the students in Key Club coordinated this fundraiser to support the Third Project.
MS/HS Intramural Basketball Tournament. Intense competition between Red, Blue, Green, and Gray Houses. Final round: Green v. Gray (9-4). Green House was triumphant. Perseverance, cooperation, sportsmanship, and team spirit on display.

GIAMUN2026- Future Leaders in Action
Georgetown International Academy is proud to host GIAMUN2026, a one-day Model United Nations Conference bringing together student delegates for a powerful day of debate, diplomacy, and global thinking.

This year’s conference will simulate the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), where students will represent countries from around the world to address a critical global issue: Regulation of Autonomous Weapons & Military Use of Artificial Intelligence
With 40 delegates already confirmed;, participants from GIA and School of the Nations will engage in research, discussion, and resolution-building around real-world challenges.

From passion to profession, Frederick Imadonmwinyi’s journey into education is one driven by purpose, perseverance, and impact. Now in his second year of teaching at Georgetown International Academy, Frederick is shaping young minds in the classroom while continuing to grow as an educator. Tonight is the night! GIA’s Annual Student Musical- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory under the musical direction of Christian Sobers, 7:00 PM at the National Cultural Center. Tickets are 3000 GYD.
